Good morning, Kathy!

The calendar says it's mid-August, but the thermometer says it's 52 degrees here. I've donned my long-sleeved tunic and now I sally forth to brave the winds and wild! I hope you're having a restful night!

LOL!

One of my clients, who is a tree-hugging, latte-sipping, vegan, granola-crunching liberal said the SAME thing yesterday, as her doggie has been attacked by them too. It was a good opportunity for me to remark about how Nature is cruel and “fallen”, and yearns for Redemption. LOL!

Lyme disease - Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I don't know if our local ticks transmit either of these, but we had to pull a tick off Sir Winston the other day. The wooded area that borders our neighborhood is loaded with them.
