I’m hanging in a bit longer since I can sleep in (fingers crossed).
I’m a cake person. Only a few pies that I like.
Definitely a good cheese cake.

Sometimes these temporary dietary needs push me into trying new things. I shopped for milk substitutes and found that almond milk is pretty good stuff. I think I would willingly get the almond milk analogue of ice cream if it existed.

I don’t think I’ve ever tried almond milk. I might give it a try cause I do miss having cereal sometimes. Bet it would make good ice cream.

It might be even nicer than dairy milk on cereals. I got 3-Diamonds brand on sale at a Kroger. And there are do it yourself recipes on the web, involving hot water, soaked almonds, and a blender, then straining it.

Good evening, Mac...*HUGS*...three days in a row? Better drivers today?
Training class all day today and tomorrow. Only us payroll guys.
Looks like “go live” 9/3...a short week, but they said they would have folks in the office with us. That is good as not a single day goes by without the new system being down for something. We have not yet been able to run a complete payroll from start to finish.
One good thing happened, something that validated something I found weeks ago, and in front of all. The “teacher” input a row of time for a security guy and it pulled the proper project but pulled from Food and
Facilities...wrong!! Should have pulled from Security!! d:o)
Something else they need to fix.

LOL.
Had to take it. It was staring at me.

Good evening, Kathy!
*HUGS*
Better drivers today - very fast commute on the way in - under 40 minutes. Heavy volume on the evening trip - almost an hour. We didn't even hit 80 degrees today.
My third night on the treadmill - making progress. :)

Isn’t that the way it always goes when “they” want to start a new system?
Seems they never put the programmers and the users together from the beginning. It would probably save a lot of frustration if the did.

I truly believe...and have said so many times at work...that the IT guys need to spend at least a month in a real store just to see what havoc they wreak!
