The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.
The Lord preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.
Psalm 145: 17-20

Lord God,

May our mouths speak Your praise and may all flesh bless Your Holy Name forever and ever. May all Your works praise You, Lord, and all Your saints bless You. You are good to all and Your tender mercies are over all You works. May we extol You, our God and King, and bless Your Name forever and ever.

Lord, how blessed we are to live in America. Thank You, Father, for guiding this nation from its birth. Now, even as we walk in the midst of darkness, may Your hand be near that we may grasp ahold of You and find our way back to being the country You have called us to be. Help each of us to do our part by affecting our own sphere of influence in a way that helps others draw close to You.

Be near to all our military men and women, Lord, and fulfill the desires of those who fear You. Hear their cries of distress and loneliness, of fear and sadness. Preserve them, Father, and teach them to endure by trusting in You.

Lord, help us to rejoice in our Maker, to praise Your Name, and to bless You, Lord at all times. May Your praise be forever in our mouths. For only You are worthy of all honor, glory, praise, and blessing. In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for every blessing that You have showered upon us. We ask for Your continued mercy and love, for Your guidance in our everyday lives, and for Your protection over our American heroes and our country. We are suffering the effects from daily attacks from the evil one and his minions. We humbly pray that You continue to make us strong and resolute. We are so grateful to You and profess our eternal obedience and love.

We join together and pray in Jesus’ holy name.

Yes, Faith. Amen.

I read recently that God chose Israel, but our founding fathers chose to devote our Nation to loving and serving God. It is the only Nation to choose Him when it was established. We surely don’t understand what is going on here and increasingly feel like we don’t belong here, but I believe God has not forgotten the commitment that we made to Him.

Father, burn the dross and restore our original purpose and direction. Your people love You and are grateful to be living in a Nation that chose You. Amen.
