Israel National News ^ | 20 August 13 | Ari Soffer

Recep Tayyip Erdogan's latest comments entirely consistent with a history of anti-Semitic remarks and conspiracy theories.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Israel is behind the removal of former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi by the Egyptian military.

“Israel is behind the coup in Egypt, we have evidence,” Erdogan declared to members of his party meeting in Ankara on Tuesday, according to the Turkish Today's Zaman.

Conspiracy theories in the Islamic world are rampant, probably because they are espoused by the actual leaders of the Islamic world and not just run-of-the-mill tin foil hat wearing fools...Keep in mind that this guy is Obama's favorite foreign leader...

Turkey would have been far better off if the Turkish military has retained the ability to overthrow the Islamist government there, too.

>> Obama’s favorite foreign leader...

“The Syrian uprising is not a simple “the good guys vs. the bad guys” action-packed conflict. While there is plenty of action, there are no good guys. There are, however, two opponents who have been duking it out for hundreds of years, the Sunnis and the Shiites. In the Sunni corner, we have U.S. President Barack Obama, championed primarily by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt. Their combatants, the Shiites, include Syria, Iran, and Hezbollah - the Lebanese militia controlled by Iran and Syria.”

“Israel’s behind it! Yeah! And the Armenians put ‘em up to it! Yeah, that’s the ticket!”

We’re coming to the hundred-year mark on the Armenian genocide. Turkey should save its unhelpful remarks for the centennial.

Evidence? Hell, in some third world administrations, all you need point at is a YouTube video.

Israel’s behind everything bad that happens in the world!

It’s Israel’s fault that clueless Americans elected the most inane, sociopath as their president.

It’s Israel’s fault that they grow large olives, oranges and grapes just to tantalize the lazy Muslims.

It’s Israel’s fault that they continue to build housing for their citizens.

It’s Israel’s fault that they anger the Muslims to such an extent that the Muslims are forced to fire missiles into the tiny nation, blow up buses, kill and maim women and children.

It’s also probably Israel’s fault that the Muslim Paradise (which resembles many parts of Detroit) has completely exhausted the supply of virgins. This adds to the Muslim angst.

“Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Israel is behind the removal of former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi by the Egyptian military.”

Funny, but I actually believe this. Israeli and Egyptian generals have been counterparts for more than 30 years. They both know the dangers of Jihad and don’t want it spoiling a good thing. Same with Jordan.

Israel didn’t have that luxury with Syria or Lebanon and look what is going on there, although I do think that behind the scenes Israel is working to ensure the war between Assad and the Bruthas moves away from the border.

“Conspiracy theories in the Islamic world are rampant”

That’s because they are inbred and thus totally paranoic and irrational for the most part. And I mean many, many of them. I worked with some of the alleged best of the lot at a major university (I’m now retired), Math Professors. Even the best of them were irrational on so many levels. And the Arab students. All of them are so screwed up by their sick religion; that, and inbreeding. A deadly combination.

Thanks for your input. Past tense may be more appropriate here. Hopefully the Turkish people will wake up in time to make us both wrong.

Interestingly, I visited Istanbul a couple of years back and naturally had a look at the Hagia Sophia. Big and old come to mind.

The Turks I ran into all seemed friendly, especially the guy who wanted to sell us some rugs.

If it is true, good on them I say. Obama may want a Moslem Brotherhood state in Egypt but I sure the hell do not.

Erdogan is like our Obozoliar, as both are closet supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Go to the link below to really understand what the riots in June of this year in Turkey were about. The rioting Turks were upset with Erdogan’s not so secret relationship with his bros in the Muslim Brotherhood.

16 ... Erdogan needs a bullet to the brain pronto; the military there better get moving and take him out before he get his hands on the nukes we have stationed in Turkey.

Based on articles I've read over the last 10 years, Erdogan has effectively neutered/purged the Turkish military of its secular-leaning officers - Ataturk's heirs. If this is so, then I do not look for another uprising of "Young Turks" or another Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in the near future.
