In relentless campaign, Egypt arrests Muslim Brotherhood leader (Mohamed Badie)

Egypt's army-backed authorities detained the Muslim Brotherhood's leader on Tuesday, signaling their determination to crush the group and silence protests against the ousting of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.

The arrest of Mohamed Badie, 70, the Brotherhood's general guide, followed the bloody suppression of rallies demanding the reinstatement of Egypt's first freely elected president, who was toppled by the military last month.

Egypt is enduring the worst internal strife in its modern history, with about 900 people killed, including 100 police and soldiers, after security forces broke up protest camps by Mursi's supporters in the capital on August 14.

A spokesman for a pro-Brotherhood alliance put the death toll amongst its followers at about 1,400.

Badie was charged in July with incitement to murder in connection with protests before Mursi's ouster and is due to stand trial on August 25 along with his two deputies.

Footage shown on local media showed the bearded leader sitting grim-faced in a grey robe near a man with a rifle following his detention in Cairo in the early hours.

The release of the images seemed designed to humiliate the Brotherhood chief, whose arrest means the group's top echelon is now behind bars, with other leaders dropping out of sight.

Badie is the Brotherhood, the movement's spiritual and political head. Morsi is just a side-show.

As Bugs Bunny so famously said, "Of course you realize, this means war!"

After the Egyptian Military removes the deadly cancer known as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, maybe we could get them to do the same in America, starting in DC.

Reuters. Bless their little black heart.

We need to thank them for pointing out the ruthless, relentless and evil Egyptian Military that is intent on carrying out its ruthless, relentless and evil plan to eliminate the infinitely kind and gentle Muslim Brotherhood.

Pulitzer Prize work for sure. (Actually I'm serious about that).

Gen al-Sisi is a man of his word---he vowed he would not rest until the MB was vanquished.....and has taken giant steps to accomplish this.

The Egyptian military has vowed to rebuild churches torched by the MB.

The savage Muslim Brotherhood torched some 63 Egyptian churches and Christian businesses. Pansy Obama ignored the bloodbath and spent the crisis dining, golfing, partying, and vacationing in exclusive Martha’s Vineyard on our dime.

And we heard nary a discouraging word from the self-styled "defenders of the oppressed"--- pansies Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were silent---same two pansies who were in high dungeon when a southern Black church was torched.

======================================================

Gen al-Sisi is igniting worldwide disapproval of the MB---world leaders are defending Christians--- Russian Pres Putin has also weighed in---decrying Christian slaughter by Muzzies. The Saudis are jetstreaming billions to al-Sisi so he can continue the fight.

Elsewhere, the unabated slaughter of Syrian Christians continues---conducted by the fanatical Muslims----the word is Muzzie rebels want Assad out b/c he accepts Christians.

Of course, that twit Obama is on the wrong side again ....arming Muzzie rebels so they can kill more Christians.

Badie is to the Brotherhood what Ali Khamenei is in Iran. Morsi was always a figurehead.

Reuters showing that they side with evil every time.

I firmly believe Gen al-Sisi's purge will have a global collateral effect......b/c countries w/ muzzies know these people are dangerous fanatics. Every country will silently (or vocally) cheer Gen al-Sisi....

All except one....the USA. But that could redound to our benefit b/c Obummer will stand alone...naked against the world.

This is a place pussy-footing Obummmer does not envision for himself.....b/c in his warped mind---he considers himself the "savior of the world."

===========================================

The US Congress should invite Gen al-Sisi to speak before Congress----perhaps award him the Congressional Medal of Honor---for his outstanding defense of Christians.

A hint from the good Egyptians, who are throwing out the Muslim Brotherhood and sending many to hell:

And don't you love that fact that al-Sisi's got Christian-hating Obummer right where he wants him? Read on.....

MILITARY.COM reported that US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and Egyptian Gen al-Sisi....

Although the officials would not discuss the specifics of the military- to-military talks, the U.S. would need Gen al-Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.

READY TO GO About 550 Marines and their tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft are at bases in Spain and Italy on standby if they are needed. A Navy Amphibious Ready Group with 4,000 Marines and sailors aboard, led by the helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, was also in the region following completion of the Eager Lion training exercises in Jordan. © Copyright 2013 Military.com. AIN'T KARMA A *ITCH, HILLARY?...... the helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, IS in the region. We were lied to----we were told it was not available to help endangered Americans in Benghazi.

Speaking of the US, notice how quiet our resident brotherhood brother has been of late? Of course the press keeps away from any of the serious questions about Egypt, don’t want to put him on the spot.

By this time next year, the Aswan dam will be named the Putin dam as he is going to remove us from any influence in that country. Another lose lose for the O zero foreign policy of what me worry.

Within hours our fearless leader will condemn this, showing that he is on the side of the savage murderers.

(Both sides are savage murderers. He’s chosen the side that is worse than the other.)

Midshipman 894 out of 899 also works for me.

Not exactly the fastest ship in the fleet.

The Chinese and Russians are backing the Egyptian military. So are the Saudis and possibly even the Iranians.

Basically, in the end, we could have a very dangerous Egypt on our hands, just because we decided to turn our back on them during their fight against the Muslim Brotherhood. Egypt could also become very anti-Israel, and fall under the influence of Russia, China, and Iran.

Iran is busy fighting Muslim Brotherhood backed extremists in Syria right now, so that’s why Iran would back a crackdown against the MB.
