John Boehner: “Cutting off funding for ObamaCare is absolutely something I support”
Bring back AMERICAN jobs.
It is past time, for America to begin protecting American jobs.
Bring back US jobs.
What’s this....no sound file?
Shame.
:>)
Of course that was when they were in minority of both houses. Voting ‘no’ on anything was a win-win.
Being in the majority of the House means Bohner gets blamed for a shutdown so he wont consider it.
Now those Republicans in the Senate are still in a similar situation as 2010, they can vote NO and nothing happens. .
Could you possibly be suggesting....(I hate to say it)...
That they pander??!!
An audience member asked Cruz, Why dont we impeach him [Obama]? reported the National Review based on their audio of the event.
Its a good question, Cruz responded, and Ill tell you the simplest answer: To successfully impeach a president you need the votes in the U.S. Senate.
Of course he needs at least 51 in the Senate to pass a budget defunding Obamacare, or to kill a budget without it in Senate,
Time for ALL Repubs to “put up or shut up”, “Put the money where your mouth is”, etc. etc.
We voters need to “call in our markers” and MAKE them do something.
If Boehner and Cantor are lying and posturing it must either be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
Worthlesss and worthlesser.
McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, McCain, Graham, etc., support the American people in defunding Obamacare now!!! Sign & Endorse the “Lee/Cruz” defund Obamacare petition, right now ....TODAY!!! And urge all Republicans and Democrats to do exactly the same!!!

His answer: 'Because we don't have the votes in Senate to do that'.
Told ya .
Isn’t it a constitutional requirement that all funding bills begin with the House?
1. They could refuse to raise the debt ceiling.
2. They could refuse to put ObamaCare in the budget.
I once had a teacher who wisely (and repeatedly) told the class “Remember, its not what they say, its what they do.” His point, of course, was that people will say whatever is convenient, advantageous, or diversionary for them while their actions say otherwise.
I’ve always found this to be an insightful axiom whether it be in the political realm or anywhere else. Talk is cheap.
Republicans want our votes and our money. They will say anything to get them. But they don’t really want our conservative principles.
And you believed them? You probably also believed that romney and a gop controlled congress would have repealed the individual mandate. You probably also got behind some broad who spent years wrecking lives and businesses as an IRS tax collector thinking she was all about getting government out of your lives. I could go on, but I think a pattern has been well established.
John Boehner in 2012 basically said ObamaCare is the law of the land and will be funded.
ugh
Were they prophetic? Burn a debt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pVM00eoohI
But its not a constitutional requirement that THIS ONE end in house which is what is being suggested , and so it wont happen.
In other words a bill could start out defunding Obama care in house, and still end up funding it by the time Obama signs it. So nothing still happens.
Is Rush claiming that is unconstititional?
Yes!we has s heared that the Republican leadership would vote to repeal Obama care in the past and they have had and passed many meaningless votes.
Now is the time for the rubber to hit the road and slam this out of control pResident up side the head with. A legal 2x4 and let him know who really bis running the show.
They could impeach Obama in House too and worry about the Senate later, but Cruz says they dont because they dont have votes in Senate to finish the job.
BTW : I dont know what Rush is telling you but if no budget is signed by Oct 1 Obama care is still funded as it was classified as essential like SS, so that strategy doesn't work either.
