Former Vermont Gov. and 2004 Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean showed that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) irritates the left as much as the Republican establishment when he declared that he was fearful that Cruz would one day become president.
"God help us if he ever gets to be anything more than the senator from Texas," Dean said on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday.
Dean was responding to an interview CNN's Candy Crowley had done earlier in the week with Cruz in which Cruz said that he would do whatever he could to encourage a "grassroots tsunami" that would convince lawmakers to defund Obamacare.
Dean dismissed Cruz as a "slick" speaker promoting "crazy" ideas from the "far right."

When liberal attack dogs like Howard Dean make comments like this they should be asked to clarify just what ideas or policies qualify as ‘from the far right’. Is having immigration laws in place and expecting people to follow those laws a ‘far right’ idea? Is wanting to stop an unpopular health care law that was forced down our throats and that is increasing costs while rationing care a ‘far right’ idea? It’s amazing to me how arrogant this guy is.
Let 'em try it. They'll be mighty shocked when over half the country goes 1770s America on them.
