George Zimmermans Wife To Think About Staying Married
SANFORD (CBSMiami/AP) Shellie Zimmerman, in an interview, said that she has to think about staying married to George Zimmerman, the man acquitted of second-degree murder charges in July for the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in February 2012.
Shellie Zimmerman, on Wednesday, was sentenced to one years probation and 100 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor perjury charge for lying during a bail hearing following her husbands arrest for the shooting death of unarmed Martin.
After Wednesdays hearing, Shellie Zimmermans attorney, Kelly Sims, said, she was scared when she lied about her and George Zimmermans finances.
They should change the vows to “for better and maybe average”.
IIRC, they were separated and even filing long before George was attacked by Traygone.
Translation - wait and see what kind of payday he gets from lawsuits.
The fed is EVIL !!
Truth be told, all of us have to think about staying married over the years.
I hope they stay together.
Shoot, she ought to stay married. And buy life insurance policies on her husband. LOTS of life insurance.
(If she can get ‘em.)
Has there been any fundraising for George to help offset his legal bills since his victory in court?
“IIRC, they were separated and even filing long before George was attacked”
A quick scan of the article reveals that little piece of info was left out, also from the article:
“Shellie Zimmerman says she believes her husbands version of what happened that rainy night in February that led to Martins death.”
SO DID A JURY OF HIS PEERS.......HELLO!
DOH! As Johnny Carson would say: “I - did- not - know - that! I honestly did-not-know-that!” Oh well, well this this certainly didn’t help.
With this plea agreement she won’t be able to be in a house or vehicle where there is a firearm, or a husband with a firearm, so we can thank the government of Floriduh for this marriage breakup.
“”Truth be told, all of us have to think about staying married over the years.”””
We have all considered the “If I would have disposed of her 10 years ago like I wanted to I’d be out of prison by now” scenario.
I see a reality show in their future ..
They both need to be placed in a secure place where they can’t be located.
This is the first time I’ve heard they were separated and/or thinking of divorce prior to his arrest.
Yes, you are right.
The state will probably end up paying his legal bills. Florida has a law which allows people acquitted of a crime to have their legal fees paid.
She’s pleading to a misdemeanor.
Still a travesty considering what was going on at the time.
