"Proof" Assad Used Chemical Weapons Is One Hundred YouTube Clips: Full Report Attached
Zero Hedge ^ | August 30, 2013

Below is the government's assessment of the "Syrian Government’s Use of Chemical Weapons on August 21, 2013." It is exactly as expected, putting the full blame on Assad.

What however is absolutely mindblowing is the following:

"We have identified one hundred videos attributed to the attack, many of which show large numbers of bodies exhibiting physical signs consistent with, but not unique to, nerve agent exposure. The reported symptoms of victims included unconsciousness, foaming from the nose and mouth, constricted pupils, rapid heartbeat, and difficulty breathing. Several of the videos show what appear to be numerous fatalities with no visible injuries, which is consistent with death from chemical weapons, and inconsistent with death from small-arms, high-explosive munitions or blister agents. At least 12 locations are portrayed in the publicly available videos, and a sampling of those videos confirmed that some were shot at the general times and locations described in the footage. We assess the Syrian opposition does not have the capability to fabricate all of the videos, physical symptoms verified by medical personnel and NGOs, and other information associated with this chemical attack."

In other words, America may be about to launch World War III on the basis of one hundred videos, which it believes "the Syrian opposition does not have the capability to fabricate."

God help us all.

What this is is, Obama is trying to prove that a YouTube video could provoke the attack in Benghazi—by showing that 100 YouTube videos can start WWIII.

So, Al Qaeda now has the best equipped military the US tax payer can buy.

I dont see WWIII, but I liked the Russian comment that said ‘The US mid-East policy is like a monkey with hand grenades’

Bush gets some credit for that too, jointly earned.

The reported symptoms of victims included unconsciousness, foaming from the nose and mouth, constricted pupils, rapid heartbeat, and difficulty breathing.

Those same symptoms were faithfully and vigorously reported about the attendees at Obama's political rallys as I recall.

That 'gas' he was spewing was also poisonous without a doubt.

How do injured people prove that Assad forces are responsible?

Assad has nothing to gain and much to lose by gassing civilians.

Obama’s Arab-Spring style rebels have much to gain by seeing civilians gassed and convincing the world that Assad is responsible.

Either, or both sides, could be guilty, but without concrete proof it is both arrogant and foolish to act against one or the other.

But arrogance and foolishness have been Obama’s companions since the day he took office.

Welcome to the first black(mailed) President.

The Turkey PM likely has the goods to end the administration’s ‘rule’ (as VJ likes to say). Benghazi details, etc.

We may be seeing our ‘leader’ being blackmailed by Turkey into action.

Sad.

The report relies heavily on data we can’t check up on (intel reports, radar and sat missile tracks).

BUT if the intel and tech data is so strong, and the medical reports from {unspecified} trusted experts, there would be no need to bring up smartphone uploads.

This administration and their love affair with youtube.
They seem to view Youtube as some powerful force, after all they blamed a youtube video for Benghazi.

Of course this completely misses the point.

The issue is not whether or not people were killed by chemical weapons. It seems to be obvious that people were killed. The real question though is instead WHO DID IT? There is no proof that Assad did it and no proof that the circumstantial evidence that the rebels themselves did it is not true.

We are this stupid to let the obastard get by with this. He knows it. He is rubbing in his disdain of us with this.

And, to also quote Hillary, "it was a youtube video".

Once again, this administration takes it's *lead* from youtube.

And, to quote Clown Carney, this is "preposterous".

But what do we make of this counter-claim:

TITLE: Is It Possible The Syrian Rebels (Not Assad) Used Chemical Weapons?

Who is telling the truth and who can be trusted?

Thanks for the pic below:

On Bush's side they sold Iraq invasion as cheap, easy and with the huge payoff of stopping future 9/11 type catastrophes or even greater. They cleverly used words to create visions of these things to get initial support for it, and they (we) paid for it politically for years when Iraq became a long ugly expensive mess.

Obama isnt doing land invasions but we have seen his foreign policy magic in Libya and Egypt as with his dishonest boasting about 'cant sit by and watch...' and meaningless 'lines in the sand' and the picture definitely fits him too.

This is interesting. I am struck by the fact that 10 % of islam are Wahhabi Sunni sect. These are the AQ and MB factions in Sunni oaith, They mean ti kill you if you think their religeon is false, Osama Bin Ladin was from the royal family in Saudi and he was of the Wahhabi sect. I can imagine that inside the royal were other Wahhabi or Wahhabi sympathizers. Prince Bandar is well known and would have the power to move these weapons with the assistance of Wahhabo elements in the US funded military. In fact the origin of such weapons might very well have been the US. Real blow back story there.
But the first casualty of war is truth. We will have to see if this is truth but I would not be surprised because Kerry today was so weak but of course Kerry was a traitor to our country in the VietNam war and I don’t know why he would not be a traitor now and get us into a disaster but I think he failed.
