John Kerry: US has proof that sarin gas used in Syria
Daily Telegraph ^ | 1 September, 2013 | Harriet Alexander, and agencies

John Kerry, the American secretary of state, has said that the United States now has evidence of sarin gas use in Syria and said "the case gets stronger by the day" for a military attack.

President Bashar al-Assad, he said, "has now joined the list of Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein" in deploying chemical weapons against his population.

A day after President Barack Obama stepped back from his threat to launch an attack, Mr Kerry said in a series of interviews on the Sunday news shows that the administration had learnt of the sarin use within the past 24 hours through samples of hair and blood. The samples were provided to Washington by activists in Damascus, independently of the UN investigation.

Mr Kerry also said he was confident that Congress will give Mr Obama its backing for an attack against Syria, but he also said the president has authority to act on his own if Congress doesn't give its approval. While Mr Kerry stopped short of saying Mr Obama was committed to such a course even if politicians refuse to authorise force, he did tell ABC's This Week that "we are not going to lose this vote."

Congress is scheduled to return from a summer break on Sept. 9.

Just because sarin was used does not mean Assad used it against the insurgents.

In reality, the insurgents used gas either as a false flag operation or a work accident.

Even is Assad used it, he used it against Al Qaeda, that would be point in his favor. We would be going to war to protect Al Qaeda from WMD. Al Qaeda had no problem with using our own jetliners as WMD against us to kill thousands of people.

“…at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs.........”

This poor excuse of a man is a traitor and a liar.

‘Syria used sarin against the insurgents’

The problem here is that we, The US, have no frame of reference understandable to us to be able to fully understand this action.

We are being setup to be used by whichever side of this conflict that is the most desperate. Unless we have video of Assad giving the order to gas his own people then we have no business taking any military action. If our government has video of Assad giving such an order, then it needs to be released or there will be no support for any American military action in this situation.

So we know what, but not who. . . at least 50/50 chance Zer0 armed the rebels with sarin.

Even if Assad used it, he used it against Al Quaeda, that would be point in his favor.

Let us review. Tell me if I am missing something.

1. The Brotherhood had essentially carte blanche to go into the White House.

2. Obama overthrew Quadaffi and enabled the Brotherhood (al quaeda) to take Libya.

3. Obama did not go with the rebellion in Egypt. He supported Morsi. He even demanded Morsi be released. Morsi is brotherhood.

4. Now, Obama wants the US to go to war to support the Brotherhood (al quaeda). Now, as you say, Assad is killing the people who took down the towers. He wants to become their compatriots in arms. I do not recall Assad ever attacking the US.

It looks to me like there is a pattern which emerges.

Why are not republicans, media, commentators, pundits, etc. seeing these connections. Has al quaeda suddenly become jeffersonian democrats?

I understand calling Fonda and Kerry a communist, but why Cronkite?

The only thing I am aware of him as far as Vietnam goes is saying that America was losing and that it had become a losing cause.

I agree that Obama is arguably a communist but this certainly means that he cannot be a Muslim, something I have always found to be missing the point about him.

When time is spent trying to prove he believes in Islam, it takes away from his real negatives and muddies the waters, in my opinion, and saves him from the true scrutiny, he deserves.

why Cronkite?...The only thing I am aware of him as far as Vietnam goes is saying that America was losing and that it had become a losing cause.

Which was a total lie.

Since he had total credibility, it turned the will of the American people and sparked the unrelenting hippie-freak communist protests who eventually spit on our unwitting returning troops.

The abrupt withdrawal cost thousands of lives, both in South Viet Nam and Cambodia.

What you say is true, but does zero to say that Cronkite was a communist.

Registered or not, he aided and abetted the enemy...who were communists.

He led the way for the other McCarthy survivor prestitutes. Pinchy Salzburg and his old man were too.

He did not aid and abet the enemy. He was a reporter offering an opinion. We have freedom of the press and that is a very good thing.

Also, he was right. America was not fighting to win. They were in, but not all the way. To win a war you can’t be in less than 100%.

He did not aid and abet the enemy.

Yes he did, he and John Effing Kerry should have been tried for treason.

He was a reporter offering an opinion.

That's not the job of a reporter, it's the job of a news analyst. He was just a RATagandist, stirring up the domestic communists, SDS and other Disestablishmentarianist hippies.

We have freedom of the press and that is a very good thing.

NO WE DON'T!

Not since the likes of Cronkite and his wannabe Dan Rather. If you want news, you either have to go the a foreign news source, or the new media. The dinosaur press is free press has no positive value to the American people. It's blatant leftist agenda driven propaganda.

Also, he was right.

No he wasn't, we never lost a battle in Viet Nam. Except John Kerry was up in front of Congress lying his @$$ off, throwing someone else's medals over the White House fence, and over in Paris illegally negotiating with the Viet Cong.

While the other traitor was in Moscow marching in the streets protesting against his own country in a time of war. Both Clinton and Kerry should have been charged with treason against the United States.

They probably weren't because "Kennedy's War" was a so-called police-action.
