Depends on what goes in regards to the Middle East, Syria in a special way. The Dems could very well end up losing big.

“Newt Gingrich. Probably the best speaker since Ronald Reagans time.”

I completely agree.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Why wait. Step down now and let someone who can lead have the damn job. I’m sick and tired of his duplicitous ways.

I'm sure he's not the only one...

Like many programs that were instituted for good, we now have example upon example how good programs have been turned and become "Weaponized" by the people in power in this country to control or destroy those who would oppose them. I won't call them democrats or republicans; I'll call them traitors, spies, and saboteurs. They have infiltrated and taken over (appointed to) the IRS, NSA, DHS, DOJ, EPA, you name it. Those in the government (civil servants) that might be in the side of right find suddenly their dark side is known and now is being used to control them. Either they turn or get burned (one way or the other). Ask General Petraus about that sometimes...

I see pre-WWII Nazi Germany in these works, and the possible beginnings of a French Revolution on this continent in response. This is why the racial diversion is so important to these people, because if ordinary people really started looking around they will see the truth of what is happening to them. This is why our schools have been dumbed down, because if our children knew our history, they would know they were being robbed of their freedom, liberty, and birthright.

John Freaking Kerry, telling us now that the arabs will pay for us to bomb Syria (and maybe more)? Since when was the US military for hire, especially to our enemies? Since when did our military (and who knows what other parts of the government) become mercenaries and whores to the arabs?

Wake up America! Knowledge is power, and the lack thereof is slavery. Teach your children well, or else the government (and those who have bought it) will teach them the meaning of dhimmitude firsthand...!

An alternative possibility is that he’s trying to triangulate and pull Obama to the right in any compromises that take place in the next 6-8 months.

The rationale being that moving to the right to get Boehner onboard represents the best chance of Obama salvaging his failed second term. Because a new GOP Speaker in 2015 will be a wild card and a Conservative unwilling to move even an inch Left with a lame duck President.

This assumes that Obama is really a Clintonian pragmatist. Which we know he ISN’T.

I hope other GOP house and senate leaders such Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy, and Mitch McConnell will take a hint and step aside so we might have a chance to put conservatives back in charge of the party. Yeah, it may already be too late but we have to start with purging the RINO’s from leadership positions.

“He’s whipped”...
He’s whipped, alright...like an abused wife returning to the abuse. Benghazi Barry, Valerie Jarrett and the NSA have spun a web around everyone, but cowards resign themselves to blackmail over the best interest of their countrymen.

I feel sorry for his children and his grandchildren—he leaves a “legacy” of cowardice and deceit-—AND, pansy-ism.

But, I don’t forgive him his self-centeredness—we seem to have a great many narcissists in Washington these days.

May he reap what he has sown.

“Hate” is a strong word, but it comes pretty close to what informed Republicans feel toward this traitorous scoundrel. Maybe he finally got the message with the calls coming into his office over Syria.
The problem is that all of his first lieutenants are every bit as onerous. Cantor? LOL He’s a freakin’ fraud, too. Bob

How about effective ***yesterday***? What a disgrace and disappointment this former “revolutionary” has been. Yes, he once called himself that.

There better be an all out war for that seat by the Conservatives because the Repubs
