Syria said to use gas against Qabun neighborhood

If they're busy using it on each other, they aren't using it on us!

Bloomberg headline, citing Al-Arabiya.

If true, that would be one of the stupidest military moves of all time. USD/JPY down about 10 pips on the headline.

Some are pointing out that Al-Arabiya is Saudi owned and that the Saudis are no friends of Assad

Al-Arabiya is a Saudi TV network. You can disregard this story until there’s concrete evidence.

A different new attack?? I’d find it doubtful too, not only per the news but your news source, Al-Arybia might be partial to anti-Assad forces.

Considering the first several gas attacks have been the “rebels”, what’s a few more thrown in to stir the pot?
Especially since the people aren’t buying it.

Perhaps a philosophical question here....but if the rebels were gassing folks in general around the capital (troops and civilians)....shouldn’t we be helping the Syrian gov’t then?

It seems to me....the gas guys...whoever they are....are the bad guys. Or is this not the scripted answer to the whole problem?

Man, it seems like that Libya mess was so much easier to understand. Get Qaddafi, chase his sons out, reclaim the capital....and hand the Libyan weapons over to the secret friends down in Benghazi. Or did I get that script wrong too?

Let us see. Syria knows that we may attack so the smart thing to do is launch another gas attack? Not sure they are that stupid.

UN draws up emergency plan for Syria strike

AFP

UN agencies have drawn up emergency plans for a military strike on Syria but are determined to keep delivering aid in the stricken country, a top UN official said Friday.

“We continue to update and look at our contingency planning” in case the numbers of refugees fleeing Syria rises, UN humanitarian chief Valerie Amos said after a trip to Damascus.

If true not surprising. Obama pretty much needs this to validate his WW3 meme.

I think its a fake.

Nothing on Bloomberg or Al Arabiya, both of which the article cite as the source.

More false flags. Probably more to come by Obama’s speech on Tuesday.
