Global Cooling: The United Nations won't give up its hard-line position that global warming is occurring and man is to blame. But at some point it's going to have to deal with the reality of the world around it.
The U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says it is 95% sure that human activity — the burning of fossil fuel for energy — is causing our planet to warm. So on what, we wonder, will the IPCC blame the coming cooling period?
Because one is coming. At least that's what the IPCC itself reportedly is saying. The London Telegraph wrote Sunday that a leaked IPCC report "has led some scientists to claim that the world is heading for a period of cooling that will not end until the middle of this century."
And why not? As the Telegraph has noted, "There has been a 60% increase in the amount of ocean covered with ice compared to this time last year, the equivalent of almost a million square miles."...

It’s simple you silly thing, it is caused by Global Warming, or Climate Changing caused by Man made neglect..
I wonder how long it will take for a new Lexicon, Man Inspired Global Neglect, needing “Breathing Credits”, to mitigated this dangerous condition..
It is not called Global Warming anymore. It is Global Climate Change.
Global Climate Change is much more flexible than Global Warming or Global Cooling ever were. Is it warmer than average today? Cooler? Wetter? Dryer? More windy? Less windy? More cloudy? Less cloudy? It does not matter!
No matter what the weather happens to be it is because of Global Climate Change.
Our only hope is higher taxes and more regulations.
Well this should be interesting. NOAA has been screaming for decades that each year is the hottest on record and each winter sees less sea ice. Too bad this emperor has no clothes - he’s gonna need ‘em in the cold weather.
I can’t wait for President Palin to say “Look, UN... NO ONE wants dirty water or polluted air, but we also don’t want global control of our government given over to communists under the disguise of ‘climate change’ lies and deception.”

The climate change crowd has arranged the game in such a way that, no matter what happens to the earth’s temperature (it’s warming; it’s cooling) they win.
They rearranged the playing field when they dropped the whole “human-caused global warming” terminology in favor of the term “climate change”. With a slow acceptance that the broad hoax of global warming can scientifically be proven false, they can now claim that, as the result of their efforts to control greenhouse gas emissions, global warming has ended and the earth is now beginning to cool.
Which begs the question - if the earth should enter a new mini-ice age, will they promote greenhouse gas emissions to reverse the trend of “global cooling”??
In just a few weeks we will experience genuine climate change: summer will give way to autumn.
It’s even simpler than that. They need us to give them more money so they can study the situation.
And they’ll get back to us later.

This is perfect! What the rut should do is blame Al Gore, the IPCC and the left for causing global cooling.
We are at a crucial crossroads in history. If this continues we will go into another ice age and millions of people are going to perish. We need to stop alternative energy activities now and Drill baby Drill!!!! That is the only way our planet can heat up.
The left would go apoplectic.

IPCC is busy MANIPULATING the answer now. Every place in their report that says WARM will be changed to COLD. It will be temporary and is man caused. That should give the radical leftist commies something to hang their hand on to raise more taxes and regulations.
Damn carbon. If it isn’t causing a greenhouse, then it’s blocking the sun. Hot and cold, hot and cold.
Damn cars, factories, and fireplaces causing all that carbon.
Causing that hot.

95% is a standard statistical convention that's supposed to repesent that they would get these results by chance 1 or less out of 20 times they got similar results if their hypothesis is correct. Just never mind that that the results are counterintuitive. Just trust them. /s
They say that every time. I get so tired of hearing it - as I have to go out again buying jumpers, leggings, etc., because the cold gets to me.
