Opinions vary.

Tattoos have been around for a few thousand years.

Some fad. It’s lasted longer than Christianity...

She is defending our country, as far as I’m concerned her tats are beautiful.....

It may say I hate Obama

Exactly. I think she looks great, and I doubt she gives a rat's behind about what anyone here says about her tats.

The impression I get from most of the comments above is, "GET OFF MY LAWN YA DANG KIDS!"

As a side note, I do not have any tattoos nor do I plan to get any at my age.

Serenity Prayer.

Has personal meaning for her. Wasn’t put there for you.
................................................

The fact that it’s a prayer makes it even worse (please note that ‘print any marks’ comes AFTER ‘for the dead’. It’s an independent command):

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:28

Leviticus huh?

Are you wearing a variety of fabrics right now? Any cotton/wool blends in your closet?

Get rid of them. Lev 19:19.

Same if you planted beans next to the squash in your garden.

Stop it.

Wow! Lots of judgemental freepers out there.

Possibly the same ones who stayed home and wouldn't vote for Romney? Hope they have a good view of the destruction of this country from their moral high ground.

I think she is beautiful and I thank her for her service to her country and she can go deer hunting with me anytime.

Silly rabbit, of course it was meant for us, collectively speaking. It's just her way of doing handstand leg splits at the beach without the sweat.

It's text and she meant it to be read by other people.

If she needed it as a private personal reminder a locket or bracelet. would have served her better.

Placed as it is she can't read it herself. If she looks at it in a mirror the text is reversed. So yeah, she had it done to be seen when in her bikini or in the nude.

That said, the majority of the people I've encountered that post the "serenity prayer" in their office spaces, dashboards, home bathroom walls, etc. display it as their deep thought and lack any real religious belief other than that.

Your gripes not with me.

As far as you saying ‘it’s not for you’. Well she sure can’t read it where it is. If she is so passionate about it why didn’t she get it printed backwards across her forehead so she can read it every time she looks in the mirror?

Can’t she just keep a page in her pocket? Oh I think it’s specifically for you, me, and everyone else just for this occasion. Just my opinion but there’s just something very un Christian about standing there in a bikini with the Serenity prayer defacing a beautiful God given body.

Not a big fan of visible tattoos on a lady. A small rose on the butt however would be Ok.

Evidently God didn’t answer her prayers. Cause she does not have the wisdom or courage necessary to avoid making stupid choices.

I abhor the primitive craziness of marking one’s own body with tattoos.

The problem with welfare funded genetic and cultural devolution is we don't really have very far to fall at all.

A hidden tattoo benefit is you repel hateful snobs for life.

I don’t think this lady in service to our country requires your approval or misses your company.

I will say that her tat looks better than my grandpa's, the sort of stick figure outline of a naked woman on his forearm. As he was close to 70 she wasn't as firm as she use to be but could still “dance” when he flexed his forearm. Hot in Texas so she wasn't covered very often.

While it wasn't anything like modern tattoo art, to a sheltered preacher's kid it was pretty interesting.
