Climate Study: Evidence Leans Against Human-Caused Global Warming
Breitbart ^ | 9/18/13 | Tony Lee

Posted on 09/18/2013 5:36:36 PM PDT by Libloather

On Tuesday, a group of 50 international scientists released a comprehensive new report on the science of climate change that concluded that evidence now leans against global warming resulting from human-related greenhouse gas emissions.

The report, which cites thousands of peer-reviewed articles the United Nations-sponsored panel on climate change ignored, also found that "no empirical evidence exists to substantiate the claim that 2°C of warming presents a threat to planetary ecologies or environments" and no convincing case can be made that "a warming will be more economically costly than an equivalent cooling." The U.N.'s panel is scheduled to release its next report next month.

The Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change, or NIPCC, which produced the report, is described as "an international panel of scientists and scholars who came together to understand the causes and consequences of climate change."

Global cooling, caused by human activity. Now how can I start a whole business to rake in millions of dollars based upon this BS? Hmm... maybe I’ll consult with Algore.

I hope that President Obama reads the report, not to mention Jim Hansen and Al Gore. It is hard to believe that the Intergovernmental Panel would actually produce an honest, unbiased report!

Global warming is caused by the Sun, not you.

Trick question? Are they just saying “Evidence Leans Toward Human-Caused Climate Change” instead?

Global warming is so 2010...

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls our climates.

3. The earth is a rock.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

“The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sun spots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles … hundreds of thousands of years of bombardment by comets and asteroids and meteors, worldwide floods, tidal waves, worldwide fires, erosion, cosmic rays, recurring ice ages … And we think some plastic bags and some aluminum cans are going to make a difference? The planet isn’t going anywhere. WE are!” - George Carlin

Well, the whole crops-withering-and-animals-going-extinct thing was always a little amusing. In plain English, the question "What would happen if the average temperature were 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit hotter 100 years from now?" is answered with a shrug of a farmer's shoulders. Nothing.

It wasn't a bad scam, though, as long as it lasted, and that was long enough to put Algore in a very nice, high-carbon-footprint mansion. IIRC, phrenology lasted about 30 years before it got hooted off the scientific stage. Not a bad run at all.

That doesn't mean we won't hear shrieks of impending doom every time the summer is a hot one in Cambridge, Ithaca, Madison, Austin, or Berkeley. Or, for that matter, Washington D.C., wherein everything including human life is weighed in the calculus of political power. We haven't heard the last of the snake-oil salesmen, and they're still after our collective wallet.

But, of course! Thank you for pointing that out!

The IPCC report will contain mostly drivel, as usual.

The Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change, or NIPCC, which produced the report, is described as "an international panel of scientists and scholars who came together to understand the causes and consequences of climate change." I suspect that these are real scientists with no vested interest in Anthropogenic Global Warming.

The IPCC folks need man caused global warming to put food on their tables. It is a billion dollar business (conspiracy/hoax).
