Been fighting off “it” for more than a week. Last Friday the 4 of us were talking at work and ALL of us were fighting something all week long. One went home early Friday, one was out Monday, one only came on Monday because she was afraid the Friday sickee might still be out (one of them needs to be around).

But this is payroll and the show must go on, especially as we learn the new system. So, we walking wounded, carried on. By the time I got home Monday I had all I could do just to roll into bed. Last night with homework was challenging with such a short attention span. I made it thru today, and think I may have turned the corner. I will live!

Full moon viewable here for the last couple nights. Probably not tonight...overcast and rain off and on.

A funny story...Sunday night my Mom calls from her chair in front of a nice big window where she loves to sit and look...and feed the squirrels, the blue jays, and a bunch of little birdies.

“Hurry...there’s a helicopter close and getting closer (keep in mind that she has macular degeneration, reads large print books with a magnifying glass, and straight ahead is her most difficult “seeing” area).” I rush out...I see something thru the tree branches. It is big, but very round, and not moving that I can tell. I took binoculars out on the front porch....it is the MOON! Huge and looking like it is on our street, and just rising out of the tree branches. It was really cool!
