The bloody jihadist assault on a Kenyan shopping mall shows that while al Qaeda forces may be dispersed, they are still highly dangerous. The gunmen fired their way into the crowd Saturday afternoon and hurled grenades as they made their way to the upper levels. At least 68 people had been killed and 205 injured as we went to press. Dozens more are being held hostage. Escapees report the terrorists are targeting Westerners and non-Muslims.

The problem is, of course, that “decimated” doesn’t mean much. The muslim plague isn’t stopped by foiling one in ten.

“All hostages strapped to bombs,” it said. Personally, I doubt that they were able to get that many bombs in there or that they had even planned to take hostages. But it doesn’t matter - they’ll kill them all one way or another anyway.

I would bet that the “moderate” Muslims who were in this crowd had no problem with identifying themselves when the “Radicals” started shooting non—muslims.
I am so non techie, but I am sure that the terrorists have some way of communication. I’m not saying that this twitter account is not a sick hoax, but I assume that the officials are either jamming signals or intercepting/monitoring. With the official “spokesman” being interviewed, (I can’t think of a good word) but it’s almost circus like. Throw the spokesman’s arse in jail.
I wondered about that also. I haven’t seen an interview with those Muslims that were allowed to get up and leave knowing those who were left were going to be murdered.
I was just watching Kenyan TV. I also feel bad for the country, because you get the feeling that the place is trying to be civilized and modern, despite its many problems. And then to be attacked from the 7th century...
