As Colorado rebuilds from the floods some survivors are being victimized again — this time by thieves. Now there’s an army of agencies helping protect what little some people have left.
The Colorado National Guard will keep watch on damaged neighborhoods in Longmont and Lyons indefinitely.
Given the scope of the flooding, the number of reports of looting is really quite low, but in one Milliken mobile home park alone there were three residences that were burglarized. It’s a lot like kicking someone when they’re down.

After a hurricane, my father in law and I stood watch on his front porch for about 4 days with a pump gun. Several times, some of Obama’s sons rode by scoping us out. When they saw us, they did not stop. We would have shot them if they wanted to start any crap. Defend your property regardless of whatever goberment wants to deny you that right. Especially against Obama types. Makes me really pissed that we have to resort to that, but it is what it is.
Thieves are dispicable. Those that rob during such a crisis are worse than dispicable. In fact they are so bad, I can’t even think of a word that adequately describes them.
Most honest and sensible people call them democrats.
Remember the democrat motto: "Never let a crisis go to waste".
Obviously, the jerks are the neighbors or the owners are fibbing. A real burglar out to score big would hit in a wealthier neighborhood.
People steal for reasons other than the perceived benefit of the lucre thus gained. Envy, covetousness, other forms of hate.

Indeed. I think rednecks are much like puppies.
Sure they are quite frequently irascible, even a bit rough at the margins some might say; and yes, often they will urinate on yer furniture or perhaps--- in a careless, frenzied spree-- destroy your new handmade Italian sofa...but with proper care and feeding they can eventually morph into sturdy allies when the chips are down.
I knew there was a reason that I like you.
My best friends are rednecks, and they’re actually very well behaved, neat, and very accurate shooters.
I can only aspire to redneckery, being a damn Yankee. Sigh...
They do put up with me, though.
