You already told me that you knew that Cruz cant win in defunding with the specific strategy and tactics that you demand now, those that are going forward now that you always expected to lose and you admitted you always did expect to lose against Dems in defunding Obama-care.
That your plan was always just to call those who engineered it cowards and traitors after it fails that you always expecte it too and to claim you won anyway.
So now Paul and Sowell join your list of cowards and traitors.

Paths_of_Glory(1957) is truly a classic WWI movie.
After the French general orders his troops to make a suicide attack on German positions completely outnumbered and outgunned some of the battalion survive to fall back to their trenches, so he orders his artillery to shell those same, his own troops .
When the artillery soldier says he cant shell their own french won troops without written orders he threatens to court Martial him too.
So the general presses to court martial and execute the surviving, his own troops, for cowardice.

And Kirk Douglas was ordered to select - at random - a group of Poilus (French infantry - literally, “Hairy ones”) to be executed to set an example for the rest.
It’s an amazing movie.
Kirk Douglas was a huge liberal, but he was a good actor.
“Spartacus”, “7 Days in May”, “The War Wagon”... some good flicks in there.
Burt Lancaster was another good actor. He was amazing in “From Here to Eternity” along with “Ol’ Blue Eyes” Sinatra, Ernest Borgnine, and Montgomery Clift.
Also “The Train” - another good flick.

No. I have seen conflicting reports of Rand Paul’s stance on cloture. The first time I saw someone say he was going to vote for it, I said “huh? but he was on the floor with Cruz” — IOW, asking if Paul had actually said he was going to vote for cloture. On another thread, someone said he had announced he would vote AGAINST cloture. So I have been trying to verify whether or not he has actually, publically, stated which way he will vote.
I know the cloture vote hasn’t taken place. That’s why I called you out when you said “Cruz voted for cloture.”

I’ve listened to that audio a couple of times now, no where does Rand say he supports Mitch’s bitching about Cruz’s filibuster. Rand even takes a shot at the “leadership” in Congress.
