Wood Stove Ban Made Universal
http://freepatriot.org ^ | September 30, 2013

For many years, those of us in the Arctic have been fighting the wood stove ban. The use of PM2.5 particulates has been an issue pursued by local agencies as a way to swipe at those who choose to live beyond the borders of traditional civilization. That attack has now extended to the rest of the United States.

In a stunning move, the Environmental Protection Agency decided to ban most of the operational wood stoves in the U.S.

In those places where there is you, God, and nature, the wood stove has represented that one thing that can sustain. Going after local PM2.5 particulates has been one of many methods to attack those who choose to live independent of government. As Off Grid and American Prepper survival report reveals:

The EPA’s new environmental regulations reduce the amount of airborne fine-particle matter from 15 micrograms to 12 micrograms per cubic meter of air.

This means that most wood burning stoves would now fall into a class that would deemed unacceptable under these new draconian measures. The EPA has even launched a nifty new website called Burn Wise to try to sway public opinion.

On their site, while trying to convince people to get rid of their old stoves and buy the new EPA-certified stoves, they state that these older stove must be scrapped and cannot be resold.

But they’re probably all wet.

Mama puts some sticks on a stone slab that is sort of considered the kitchen work top and sets a trivet over them to do her cooking.

Remember: their goal isn’t to take your stove, it’s to kill the supply chain so the next generation of the self-sufficient can’t get a new one.

Solution? I can't even identify what the problem is. Particulates eventually end up fertilizing the soil, with zero effect on the gas make-up and fraction of our atmosphere. And if anything, they would actually cause a global cooling effect while in colloid with the air.

So again, what is the problem (other than a bunch of fascists drunk with power getting their emotional kicks by dictating how everyone else should live).

Be interesting to see how many years (months?) elapse between now and when some armed EPA strike team descends on some poor homesteader in the middle of January to confiscate their illegal stove (and probably kill everyone in the process).

Just make your own black coal burning stove, that shows you what insane bureaucrats can do.

I wonder if EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy gets incentive bonuses based on the number of citizens the EPA kills per year.

Someone will end up shot over this if they try to enforce it on us mountain rednecks. Not to mention all the ski resorts that will have to spend whopping big bucks to switch. This is just insane.

Seems to me they are trying to turn the entire US into a vacation spot for the very wealthy people around the world. First they steal our land, then our jobs, them force us into hives like workerbees, and pretty soon the only jobs you can get will be waiters, waitresses, housekeepers, cooks, nannies, more like that. When they said service economy, they meant it.

pretty funny that the commies have banned an item essential to achieving ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’... a phrase the inventor was very familiar with... as the inventor of the pot belly stove was Ben Franklin

This isn’t going to go over well here in PA. During Fall, Winter and early Spring, there are wood burning stoves EVERYWHERE in the rural and suburban areas, and NO ONE is going to voluntarily give them up. Firewood and wood pellets are a big business just before and during the cold months. BBQ smokers, camping... the list is not small. The EPA’s been out-of-control for many years, and is only getting worse.

You can have my wood burning stove when you pry my hot dead hands off it!

When wood burning stoves are outlawed, only outlaws will have wood burning stoves.

Bureaucrats ought to be banned from creating law.

And those Bureaucrats who think that their agency or their agency secretary under the Constitution of the United States can create laws should be booted from office and held personally responsible for all fines and damages taken from others.

The Alphabet Agencies should not be legislating for any reason. That should fall under congress, state leglislatures, or local governments. If I so please I'll use a wood burning stove if I need it. I'll burn coal also. For that matter if needed I'll make a Hillbilly heating system using circulating hot water into a radiator with the fire outside the home. All it takes is a low volume circulation pump.

it is really not about pollution it is about control. The amount of wood burn in stoves is most likely just a drop I the bucket compared to one good forest fire.

But we all know nature is good man is bad. If one can cut off the energy that the people use one can control them.

Is there anyone who believes that there is not
a wood stove in Camp David?
and anywhere any member of the selfish, piggish,
whoring, treasonous, self-serving Congress
takes their second home?

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls our climates.

3. The earth is a rock.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
