In the showdown over the shutdown of the U.S. government, the Obamaites tipped their hand yesterday as what their strategy is.
Taking a page out of Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals," the plan is to maximize the people's pain — to maximize the political damage to the enemy, the Republican Party.What else explains it?Consider this:
Asked Wednesday if there were any danger of America defaulting on her debt, President Obama rushed to assure a reporter that, yes, indeed, there certainly is such a peril. Why would a president act in so perverse a manner, were he not trying deliberately to rattle or panic the markets? Obama's tactic worked. Thursday, the Dow plunged below 15,000.
This is all about a petulant president whose prize program the people do not want, but who insists it be imposed upon them, to assure himself a paragraph in the history books. This week, Republicans tried to pass legislation that would keep open all memorials and monuments, all tourist sites in Washington, D.C., and all programs for America's veterans.
Who stonewalled that? Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama. Why would Reid sabotage the funding the National Institute of Health. Why would Reid sabotage what is transparently a humanitarian act? Again, Reid and Obama do not want to ease the pain of the people.
They want to intensify that pain, ratchet it up, maximize it, to put maximum pressure on and do maximum damage to the GOP. The Obama-Reid strategy is, in a word, sadistic. They are inflicting pain on fellow Americans — to break their political enemies. And they can only succeed in sustaining their Big Lie — that it is Republicans who want to keep the government shut down — because of a collaborationist press.

the other side blinks and appease US for a change.
I told him as long as he kept strong, he had no worries about remaining in Congress to repair this country.

Everyone is leaving out the fact that Obumbo is a Marxist/Leninist, just as his father. He expects an America that mirrors the old Communist central/east Europe.

The Dems passed an ugly law on party lines, in the dark, unread, using bribes and parliamentary parlor games. Barry signed it, then we all read is and became nauseated. The Supremes morphed a mandate to buy a product into a tax, then Barry re-wrote the law like a banana republic dictator. How about taking the entire case back to Roberts et al to demonstrate that this sequence of events and the law itself is unconstitutional, Why are we tolerating an imperial president to creating and modifying law out of whole cloth, singlehandedly? "Law of the land" is a phony argument.
Based on the antics above, why are we not seeking impeachment?
Where do we find "continuing resolution" in the Constitution? "Regular order" calls for a series of bills (not piecemeal but planned). Any "grand bargain" is clearly not in the spirit of the Constitution.

I Love Yiddish.
When we were in Germany, my cousins from Rockland county were visiting. My cousin kept using usual Yiddish terms farm boy hubby had not heard.
He said, you know, Yiddish is a German dialect.
We brought the big German English dictionary with us on our road trips.
We found like a hundred familiar terms in there.
Sometimes English just doesn’t have the right word and Yiddish is onomatopoeic.
OK. So why not bring it back to SCOTUS?
Like I said before: Obama is a walking rectum, but he is also a hypnotist.
Reid, Pelosi, and 90% of the Democrats and some RINO’s are sitting on their hands and watching this disaster called Obama, phuck over our country and helping him do it.
Are they petulant too, or are they greedy—cowards—stupid—blind—deaf—can they really believe they are smarter than Americans who are clamoring to kill this bill they forced through in the middle of the night without reading it?
Yes: They will gain a few minority and ignorant votes by shoving this bill down our throats, but who will pay for it when it forces more people into bankruptcy? Wait until the low info voters find out Grandma is as good as dead when she needs medical care. Who will give that care when Doctors drop out of the payment plan the Government sets up? When the hospitals are closed.
That’s an idea, but how would you propose to do that?
So now he shows how tough he really is by calling the Tea Party foul names and having federal employees push 90 year old WWII vets around.
