Tuesday morning, seven National Park Service employees were seen erecting and tending to a barricade around the World War II memorial in Washington, D.C. One NPS employee was operating a forklift. There usually aren't any NPS employees working at the World War II memorial.
A couple hours later, when an Honor Flight of World War II veterans arrived, accompanied by Democratic and Republican members of Congress, the fences blocking the memorial were easily moved away, allowing the veterans to enter.
But the barriers are still at the memorial, and they've been reinforced. This morning, I walked by the memorial and noticed that wires had been used to tie the fences together:

Vets ought to put barriers up at the entrances/exits at the White House/Sarc, sort of.
Just called Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) to ask why she wasn’t at the WWII Memorial and cutting these ties to allow the vets entrance...Her office is closed and not taking messages...
I then called Richard Burr (R-NC) for the same purpose...His office IS open and gladly took my message...
What does this say about the closure????

Earlier this week, the Washington Post reported that the WW II Memorial would be open to veterans. Call them and tell them their news should be updated.

Citing codes, laws, articles, and sections of theconstitution matter not. Obasterd cares nothing for the rule of law or freedom of conscience his is a lawless rabble. If they want access to the mounument bought and paid for with private funds then pull out the barriers and make a statement.
