I placed a very polite call to SONCO at their 800 number on the fencing.
I was bumped up to a Vice President, it might have been the President, of the company.
The Barrycades were PURCHASED by the Park service years ago. They are NOT BEING RENTED from SONCO. They are not happy with the situation and have been getting calls and emails.
I would have to say SONCO gets a pass on this one. They are not involved and not happy.
I didn’t say hold them responsible.
I said if their name is on them it is reasonable for anyone to think the barricades belong to them - including responsible citizens or employees of SONCO.

Yep, the "legacy" of the current NPS leadership is going to suffer and there will be blowback to their minions on the ground at the Parks.
Those barricades were likely purchased years ago with “end of year” money that just HAD to be spent or their budget would get cut the following year.
I don’t know. When the federal government purchases something, they don’t normally let you put a big ad like that on the product. Stamping your name into the steel? Sure. Putting a panel like that on a government purchase? Competitors would scream. But I looked at their website and I don’t see that big ad on their other products. They do say that they lease out barricades, so they are in that business. I don’t doubt what you are writing. I believe you called them and they told you that. I have my doubts about them. They may have sold the government barriers in the past, but those look like rentals to me.
Some time back I had the proviledge to stand with the DC FReepers as we viewed the parade of leftist scum on 15th street. They were amazed at the FReeper gall to oppose their every word and sign and action.
We were on sort of an island, behind a double row of those steel barriers with the space between patrolled by mounted police.
The DC barricades are not all bad. It is the treacherous tyrants that order the barricades that are bad

The Obozo and his thugs in the outhouse and park service need to realize that if they create/cause a Kent State incident with our vets at a Barrycade. All hell on earth will descend on them and the rats in congress for the next decade!
