Megan Kelly pulls Fox hard left.

Megan Kelly is off to a rocky start, pulling Fox hard to left, challenging Senator Ted Cruz in much the same way Candy Crowley did at CNN. So far she has quoted polls by Politico and PPP.

Finally had a chance to watch the whole show. The idea that Kelly is pulling Fox left is total nonsense. Perhaps, it’s just your wishful thinking.

The show was excellent. Kelly’s interview of Cruze was very fair. She gave Ted more than enough time to answer her questions and did not interrupt as a left-winger would have done. Also, Ted’s responses were great.

She couldn’t have handled the interview with the black family better.

I apologize for my earlier remarks that she was shouting and could morph into a Nancy Grace. Neither of those remarks was substantiated as I watched the whole show.

Kelly’s show is a welcome addition to the Fox lineup.

Too many of us here at FR just seem to be mad at the world and love to find any opportunity that we think lets us vent our anger. Keep it balanced.

I made it a point not to watch her. Never will.

That’s an asbusrd statement, and not on the subject....which was how Newt took down Megyn, period. Just in that narrow vein......You are obviously obsessed with people and not ideas, because you can’t even see that the idea of how Newt took down Megyn applies to this thread, while the over all weaknesses of the person of Newt have not a damned thing to do with it. Small minds are obsessed with people, large minds with ideas.

FTR I’ve noticed that people who gain the notoriety of their first name only are often very significant....not that such a point has any place here.

You know, you’re free to dsiplay your lack of intelligence at any time, but to call me in any way shape or form a statist just shows how totally absurd you are. I can be called many not so good things.....accurately.....but statist or liberal or progressive or establishment are not among them - you’re just lost here dude....

I get what you’re saying. When I first saw her on the screen years ago I thought she was an absolute dream vision. I don’t watch TV news on any channel now except when I happen to be where someone else is watching it which might be my own living room if my wife has it on but for some reason Kelly does not seem to age well or something, she is looking more and more like a very ordinary looking woman who is trying to pretend to be a beauty.

Thanks for bringing me down to Earth. I must acknowledge that in my fit of petulance (possibly brought on by advancing years) I, for the moment, completely overlooked those wonderful qualities;>)

“For what reason other than her looks was Kelly ever given an on air job?”

cuz she’s actually brighter & more educated than most of the other women on Fox?

Didn’t see it, but I don’t think you’re allowed to ask tough questions of Cruz

Thanks for your comments.

FOX Chief Roger Ailes has his stable of puppet talking heads committed to an either-or format.

This is the classic juvenile, two dimensional approach to any topic.

The problem is that the adult audience is multi-dimensional.

If the guest is Conservative, then Roger has his puppets speak as a Liberal, and visa versa.

We adult Conservatives choose NOT to listen to the low-information Liberal news outlets, and find hearing it repeated on FOX to be a waste of time for us.

Time is precious to us!

The adult Conservative audience is interested in contrasting a Conservative opinion with an opinion that THEY are interested in.

For example:
* How does this Conservative opinion impact reducing the National Debt caused by our sorry Federal politicians in “both” political parties?
* Is this Conservative opinion consistent with the US Constitution?
* If this Conservative opinion were to be implemented, would it be good for the Country?
* Comparing this Conservative opinion with similar Conservative opinions from the past, what has been the history of the effects of those opinions?
* Etc, etc, etc.

Sadly, these questions are rarely asked by The Media, or for that matter in the Halls of the US Congress.

As a result, The Media has to sell their advertising by dashing, 24/7, from one high-emotion, breaking news story to another.

Also, the result is that only 10 % of Americans are interested in what the sorry US Congress does with the tax dollars of the 53 % who still pay personal FIT.

Like any other “Bubble,” the looming Media Bias Bubble of the Libs and Fox, is usually denied or ignored as it nears the bursting point.

The Media is no exception, as they have chosen to wallow in the gutter of rudeness, low-information news, and a narrow two dimensional approach to their primary job of selling advertising.

Back in the day, (1990’s), CNN had a true Reporter named Lynne Russell. Her delivery of the news was without a hint of “Journaling.”

Today, only the lady on CNBC that reports from DC on real estate news is a true Reporter.

All the rest, IMHO, on all news outlets, “Journal” the news to us, and at a level that THEY think we can absorb.

Can you say “ELITE JOURNALISM?”

Yeah, I know that is redundant - - - .

Uh, yeah, that was stipulated clearly in an earlier post. However, I was in teeny minority, and I did get flamed by a ton of commenters on this and other sites.....which was my ONLY point here.....

I don’t have a clue about that, one way or the other, I stopped taking Fox News seriously several years ago. I began to suspect that they only exist as does the GOP as a foil for the left wing media and the Rat party to play against. Like an automatic brake on an electric winch so that when easing a load down a slope you can pause to check things out, you don’t want everything to get out of hand, you want to be in control as you gradually allow it to descend.

She is great eye candy who reads well. That’s the punch line. Just turn off the TV! Fox is a tired formula of staged “fair and balanced” crap.

Same here...used to have FoxNews on SO much of the time that their emblem was *burned* in to the lower left corner of our old TV screen.

I haven't watched FoxNews on any consistent basis since 2010. Tuned in for a little bit on election night and turned it off, for good, with the exception of Greta.

When Megs asked Ted Cruz what it was like "to be the most hated man in America", I knew exactly what kind of lib drivel her show will be about. No thanks.

I think Hannity is pre-taping his show since he got dissed. Like you said, he had the #2 show for a decade...and Megs taking over is the thanks he gets?

I like your idea about the tweets, etc to Fox.

I get what you’re saying.

Initially, I was a rube for Juan, after the NPR axe fell on him for apparently his more moderate discourse and his stand on some issue that was not sympathetic to the liberal NPR echo chamber.

I was just sure FAUX News took him in to play the affable foil to HANNITY and to narcissist O’Reilly, etc., and remembered that he had a son who is/was a Republican, at the time anyway. He was no Combs.

Now, Juan is doing more than reading the liberal lines, he has sold his soul to make a living, and is fully invested in Marx. Painful to watch, so I quit.

I understand the warm fuzzies for Juan at this moment....for whatever reason, perhaps because my SOB logic always over rides my inner fuzzies - I never felt like Fox should take any action other than keeping Juan at his limited level.
