Just 51,000 people completed Obamacare applications during the first week the Healthcare.gov website was online, according to two sources inside the Department of Health and Human Services who gave MailOnline an exclusive look at the earliest enrollment numbers.

The career civil servants, who process data inside the agency, confirmed independently that just 6,200 Americans applied for health insurance through the problem-plagued website on October 1, the day it first opened to the public.

BIG CAUTION NOTE here. Do not poke around these sign-up sites just for fun. Do not do a sign -up unless you REALLY REALLY want to pursue insurance.

The problem/trick is that once you register-—you are registered FOREVER. You can’t modify, change, delete or otherwise change your mind about the registration.

Besides that there is no guarantee of privacy/confidentially and you will probably wind up on a number of mailing lists. Or you can just go register as a potential brown shirt.

That “lean on/ threaten “ aspect of the program for the young folks turns out to be more of a gummy bear than even a toothless tiger. The only means IRS has of collecting the fine for no insurance is to deduct the fine from any tax return that might be due. None. No other. They can’t tap checking accounts, can’t garnishee wages, can’t sue. Nothing. And that should lead to a huge re-filing of W-4’S to make sure witholding is minimal which in turn is a hit to the treasury’s normal interest-free “float”. Great FUBAR, Obamuzzie GREAT.

Absolutely correct. Obamacare was designed to fail. Sebelius and all of the other socialists peddling this nightmare are willing to fall on the sword for Obamacare. They’re willing to suffer the embarrassment and public humiliation because they know they’ll be rewarded handsomely by Obama. They’re willing to go down for the cause.....take a bullet….win one for the gipper. They’re like the jihadist terrorists who strap themselves with bombs and blow themselves up and everybody else with them because they think they’re going to get rewarded with 72 virgins. The problem was a stupid piece of programming that required signing on in order to look at the exchange information rather than just letting people look, and if they wanted to “buy” then linking to the signup. Would be like ebay requiring you to sign up before looking at various merchandise. At least that is how it has been explained by my resident computer guy.
Most people didn’t walk away, they never even got in the door.

This just in. The Department of Motor Vehicles will be taking this over soon as they are so much more efficient at signing people up. Their back-up will be the Post Office. Just do not give them your SSN unless you want to be hacked big time.
