Really? I wonder if deductibles and co-pays are figured into his equation?
Healthcare is being promoted like car leases.
2014 Porsche 911 for lease $499/month*
* with $50k down and excess mileage above 10 miles per month at $5.00 per mile
or what is his deductible and co pay
not buying this
I'm really, really getting tired of this crap.
16,000 people may have registered with the California Exchange but at best a very small fraction of them have actually signed-on-the-dotted-line, selected an Obamacare Plan and are fully enrolled.
And note that California has not released any ENROLLMENT figures. I'm sure they are being withheld at the request of the Obama Administration.
Sorry for your loss. Is your copay similar with the Bronze tier plan? I’ve read that many of them are 50-70% vs the traditional 80%
Don't these idiots understand that the Government is Forcing them to BUY a TAX?
So glad I could subsidize this freeloader’s health coverage.
And by the way, it’s not free or even discounted; it’s expensive as h*ll, and it’s being paid for by working Americans.
His premium is up 47%, to $236.84. In return for paying more, his deductible is up 67% ($1500 to $2500), and his out of pocket limit is up 323% ($1500 to $6350, now that his coinsurance rate has gone from 0% to 50%). He'd best not get sick.
But what is his deductable?
WOW they found a whole family of Chads! Notice the guy did not enroll this time, just became aware of his supposed savings.
Of course this father is going to go right out and share his new found wealth with his 4 employees as well. True nirvanna at Kaiser in San Jose.
So he hasn't signed up. He just [supposedly] managed to get deep enough to view some numbers. Now who's going to be able to verify that? Probably made up from whole cloth.
Well, if he is successful at signing up, chances are good it will be through a fake site. Not that there's anything remotely legitimate about the "real" websites...
I eagerly await the follow up. Which won’t happen.
Sounds suspiciously like an income tax, except that Justice Roberts says that's OK.
The Healthcare.gov estimate is the same, but the actual Anthem NH price is significantly higher, nearly $1500, and it has a $12,000 deductible for the family.
So apart from your flu shot you have to pay $1451 per month for the insurance, and $12,000 in medical bills before the insurance pays for anything. How many people can spend $29,000 a year for their health expenses? The only savings most people will see is the reduced charges on their invoices from their doctors negotiated by the insurance company. They'll still be paying the bills themselves.
The first possible plan I saw was just a little less than what I’m paying now. But couldn’t find a doctor in the plan in my area. (When Obamacare was first voted on, my doctor up & left for New Zealand. Smart woman!) Those plans that are in my area are about the same or just a bit more. I haven’t made any decisions yet. I’d like to find something outside of the exchanges, but since this is Oregon, I’m not sure any health insurance is available outside of them. Maybe it’s time to move...
Exactly.
His annual deductible quintupled, but he hasn't noticed yet.
Wow almost .05% neat!
Thanks nickcarraway.
Nice Amish names.
Speaking of the Amish, what kind of health care plan will they be forced to adopt?

I assume this is an infomercial. Wonder who paid for it . . .
Kind of like letting the Titanic sink but allowing to let a familly go in a raft alone in the freezing north pole.
