House Speaker John A. Boehner predicted Wednesday that by the end of the month, more Americans will have lost their insurance by being kicked off existing health plans than the number who were able to sign up in the flawed online healthcare.gov website.

I’ve had health insurance for over 25 years. Here’s an excerpt from the letter I just got from my insurance company:

“NOTICE OF CANCELLATION

This notice is to inform you that your current policy/certificate with Celtic Insurance Company (”Celtic”) is not fully compliant with the new Health Care reform laws. Therefore it is necessary for Celtic to cancel its in-force block of individually underwritten major medical insurance policies. This includes your policy/certificate.”

Blender is a punk. Beltway baboon with power. A fool and his money are dangerous to all those who oppose his soft tyranny. He is very much like Obama himself.

Obamacare is like your local fire department buying new fire trucks filled with kerosene, if you refuse to pay them while your house is burning down they will happily just make the fire bigger.

And STILL they will send you a bill if you refuse to pay.

That is just a little arithmetic that had not been adequately explained up to now. Enact a punitive measure that applies to all but certain excepted classes, then make it difficult or impossible to comply with the statutory demands, by either taking away an option once available, or making that option prohibitively expensive.

If you are Muslim, you are not required to participate in this “health insurance” scheme. If you are below a certain level of income, and have the right validations, the contribution will be made on your behalf.

Everything permitted is still prohibited.

More people will lose insurance under Obamacare than sign up in exchanges but what do I care. I got mine and that's why I voted to fund it.

"WASHINGTON -- The Republican chairman of a key congressional oversight committee has asked Google, Microsoft and three other companies to provide details on their possible involvement in a "tech surge" aimed at fixing a website implementing President Obama's signature healthcare law.

Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, made the request in a letter to Google, Microsoft, Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Oracle and Expedia, committee spokeswoman Caitlin Carroll said.

Issa, a relentless critic of the Obama administration, wants information on contacts the companies may have had with the White House about the Healthcare.gov website by Friday. Carroll called it the first step of a "rolling inquiry" that could include other companies.

The five named companies were selected because of press reports about their potential involvement in fixing the website, Carroll said.

Google, Oracle and Verizon declined to comment on the letter. Microsoft and Expedia could not be immediately reached for comment....................." More

"FARGO – The Obama administration asked North Dakota’s largest health insurer not to publicize how many people have signed up for health insurance through a new online exchange, a company official says.

During a Monday forum in Fargo for people interested in signing up for coverage via the exchange, James Nichol of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota told the crowd his company received the request from the federal government earlier Monday. Nichol is a consumer sales manager for the company.

Still, a spokeswoman from Blue Cross Blue Shield says about 14 North Dakotans have signed up for coverage since the federal exchange went live Oct. 1. That brings total statewide enrollment to 20 – less than one a day.

Spokeswoman Andrea Dinneen said Tuesday that while Blue Cross generally does not release its internal sales numbers, it has in this case because the problematic rollout of the federal health care exchange is a “unique situation.”

Dinneen said she didn’t have any information about the directive that Nichol referenced Monday night.

An official from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, one of the main the federal agencies handling the federal marketplace, would not directly address questions about the request made of Blue Cross Blue Shield, including whether other insurers were also asked to keep quiet about enrollment................"More

Surge the whole POS down the nearest toilet bowl.

This thing is a disaster of epic proportions. Everybody is worried about the website. That lets the Dems and WH off the hook too easily.

Bingo.

Someone finally picked up my talking point from yesterday.

But Boner owns BonerCare for allowing a CR to be voted on without a majority of Republican votes.
