"#ObamacareSlogans" at Twitter

Posted on 10/24/2013 6:37:47 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

Here are some samples:

#ObamacareSlogans: The quicker you die, the quicker you can vote Democrat.

#ObamacareSlogans: Now accepting appointments for 2023.

#ObamacareSlogans: Ask you doctor is a death panel is right for you.

#ObamacareSlogans: At ACA, we don't make of lot of your healthcare products, we make your healthcare products worse.

#ObamacareSlogans: Who needs a slogan with this EZ to remember phone number 1-800-F1UCKYO

#ObamacareSlogans: Like a nosy neighbor, Obamacare is there.

#ObamacareSlogans: Hey, you weren't that close to grandma anyway.

#ObamacareSlogans: Because you are never too old to be aborted.

Twitter.com is a place to see the latest news based upon who you follow and you can resend it to whoever follows you. It is up to the moment and very useful for information. Give it a try! I keep mine minimized and refresh it when more things show up at the top as posted. You will be shocked how fast you get pertinent information. You can also search for things. I used it during the cloture vote to send out tweets on CSPAN such as “A vote for cloture is a vote for Obamacare. The American people aren’t stupid!” It may have scrolled across the CSPAN screen on tv as they had a lot of the tweets showing. At any rate, it is neat!

And the nice, bright, very friendly sounding young lady will say

“I’m sorry, we’re not allowed to give out that information.”

While I don't belong to the Twitter universe (and have no interest in starting any time soon), I'm enjoying how this form of social media is making a mockery of Obamacare and all of its defenders. Same goes for the usually liberal-slanted late-night "comedians" such as Jon Stewart, Jimmy Fallon, et al.

To a lot of folks, mockery is an effective way to get a message across. Saul Alinsky tactics can go both ways!

I get the impression it is a place where people with phone-permenantly-attached-to-their-face-syndrome tell the world every time they take a dump. I thought it was for 14 year-old girls to post duckface ‘selfies’ and hipsters to post pictures of sushi and have the false impression that someone actually cares. A place where celebrities can post “oh look my boob fell out, goodness how did that happen teehee”.
Maybe I just don’t get out much. Or maybe its the oppisite. I get out too much... as in outside. Either way I can guarantee my life is alot happier and more simple and stressfree than someone that is plugged into a gadget every waking second.
I don’t want to tell the whole world and load 17 pictures everytime I eat breakfast.

You don’t have to post anything nor have an account.

But reading the Twitter account of someone you know and trust can be a great way of getting a new take on a situation.

For instance I like reading:

and

Yes, there’s a lot of that on Twitter, but by taking care in setting up who you “follow”, you will only see information pertinent to your interests, for the most part. I won’t even “follow” people who provide some good info if their posts are going to clutter up my timeline with the mundane and useless.

I don’t “follow” 14-year-old girls, so I don’t see duckface selfies. I follow Michelle Malkin, so I’m kept up to date on immigration and Common Core.

Only “hundreds” have been able to sign up for a health care plan at the Obamacare websites. The Wall Street Journal reported:

Okay now we will try the landline # 1-800-318-2596 listed above or 1-800-318-2596 = 1-800-FAU-CKYO.

Inspite of the Daily ObozoScamScare Trainwrecks, the ObozoScamScare Outhouse Band continues to play on:

That would be facebook. I am sure facebook has a better use than that too and I agree with you. I don’t have any interest in posting what I do all day nor reading about what someone else does. Twitter can be used in such a manner as to follow various news sites and all I do is retweet the big news but mostly I just read it and determine if I wish to click on the links to read further.

Check my new tagline!

Thanks

I think the liberals do that on Twitter but I have no interest in such things. I do a search for Washington Times and follow it and on and on. As various things happen it comes in handy to follow a specific news outlet such as CSPAN temporarily. You can even select your local news outlets.

That’s a pretty hard-hitting one there.

It does make the point that socialized healthcare can and will be used against enemies of the State.

If you don’t like Twitter you can go to Twitchy.com to see the best of the fails and snarks. It’s run by Michele Malkin.
