Top Dem admits ObamaCare could have been 'more precise' about people losing health plans

A top Democratic official conceded Tuesday that the health care overhaul should have been "more precise" in acknowledging the possibility that some Americans would lose their current insurance plans -- even as the White House defended its past statements on the law.
The admission from House Democratic Leader Steny Hoyer comes after a 2010 document emerged that predicted millions might be dropped by their providers.
The document helped explain why thousands are already getting cancellation notices and being guided toward new plans. It also gave new meaning to Nancy Pelosi's infamous remark, shortly before the complex legislation was approved in March 2010, that "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it."
Hoyer said Tuesday that officials knew some health plans would not qualify under the new ObamaCare regulations. He said the overall message to the public was accurate -- just not precise enough.

Perhaps a better strategy is for our side to LEARN how to stonewall, impede, block, and otherwise stall anything and everything they do when we have the means to do so.
Boehner and his ilk need to go; they could have stonewalled Obamacare by funding everything else except it, over and over. He lost his nerve - what little he had.

Have a small business. 6 employees plus myself. Everyone over 50. Most over 60. Those with kids ... The kids are grown with insurance of their own.
But our policy will not be renewed we have been informed because it does not cover maternity care nor pediatric vision and both are now required.
Really?!?!? We insure a bunch of near senior citizens. Requiring maternity and pediatric vision also requires a miracle of Biblical proportions. If it came to pass that we DID need maternity care and pediatric vision we could sell the “Miracle Birth” story to the National Enquirer for more money than the medical care cost!!!
We pay more in premiums because we are old. Fair enough. The probability of one of us needing healthcare is greater than a 25 year old. I get that. But the same logic should allow us to NOT buy insurance for an event whose probability (also because we are old) is now ZERO.
But regardless of logic, our policy won’t be renewed. Looking at much higher premiums and/or deductibles.

True, only 10 million lose their plan but 10 ARE able to keep theirs.
What difference, at this point, does it make?
