Virginia governor's race too close to call
Fox News ^ | November 5, 2013

The polls are now closed in Virginia, and Fox News can report that Democrat Terry McAulliffe has a slight lead over Republican Ken Cuccinelli, although it is too early to call the race.

According to the latest wave of Fox News exit polls, the surprising closeness of the race can be attributed - in part - to the disastrous rollout of ObamaCare.

Virginia voters in general oppose ObamaCare by a margin of 53 to 45 percent, according to exit polls. Of those who oppose the law, 80 percent voted for Cuccinelli and 11 percent voted for McAuliffe.

The LIBERAL fake Libertarian being funded by the democrats stole votes from the Republicans. McPhuckhead got a minority of the vote.

Third party is a guarantee of a GOP loss.

while there good reason to blame them. You also have to blame the GOP they ran the other way, witheld money and even backed the rat over ken. The GOP blew it. Out spent by 20 to 1 and still almost won it.

The good thing is that VA Governor can only serve a single 4-year term.

yep....guess Dems waited to see just how many ‘votes’ they would need to report in order to pull off a win. How could anyone vote for McAuliffe.....ok, stop laughing....how could anyone vote for Obama...
The country drops another notch....what happened to citizens who believe in the American system of government?? where did they go??

Virginia is a suburb of DC

Northern VA, is. The rest of us have to suffer with the crap they pull.

Maybe it's time for a 3rd Virginia state to be created? North Central and Southern Virginia perhaps?

It’s enough to makes you sick, isn’t it. Well, when VA goes the way of CA and is broke, don’t expect any sympathy from me.

Chill out, they don’t have the legislature and democrats actually win MAJORITIES in Maryland. Virgina had 8 years of democrat Governors Warner and Kaine.

Sorry, if you followed the last election you would know the facts of Florida and Allen West and surely you thought the many districts with not one republican vote was a mystery in PA and OHIO.

No one can bring you up to date if you did not follow it as it happened. Lots of research would find all the history.

Remaining votes must in rat counties because Cuc is still ahead.

I assume we lost LT Gov, how about AG?

There is something of a silver lining in this.

The GOP will still hold the VA State Legislature. AND it looks like the GOP will keep the AG slot as well.

Everyone knows that McAwful was 12+ points back a week and a half ago, and is at best going to win in a squeaker. And, had the campaign continued an additional week probably would have lost.

So while he would become Governor, he’ll be completely hamstrung AND the big national story coming out of his “victory” is that ObamaCare robbed him of what was looking to be a crushing victory of “Public Enemy #1” in the “War on Women”.

Every Democrat incumbent considered “vulnerable” this morning is going to be sh*tting their pants tomorrow morning. And there are going to be a LOT of other Democrat incumbents who are suddenly going to look at what happened in VA and start wondering if maybe they are “vulnerable” too.

and that should scare the cr$p atta the Dems who are up for reelection

*******
Not really a problem for them. Too many low information voters out there.

IMO nothing is going to change until the onset of the great economic reset, when we finally run out of other people’s money. When that painful event occurs, and it certainly will, it will be a political game changer.

I’ve been sick about it. Despite media lies, Savris is the ONLY reason McAwful ever lead in the polls, he never reached 50%.

His supporters are all Paultards who don’t care that Paul endorsed the Republicans and chose to ignore the fact that Savris has been exposed as to being to the left of Cuc on economic issues. Dumb little bastards. The idiot George Will endorsed Sarvis. They’re talking point was even “McAwful will win so cast a protest vote”. What a coup by George Soros.
