Phoebe Connolly, who was punched in the face and laughed at by a group of teenagers playing the random and sometimes fatal “Knockout” game in my own obscenely terrible neighborhood of Columbia Heights in Washington, D.C., appeared with Greta Van Susteren Wednesday night to describe her ordeal.
At the end of her segment, Connolly used her platform to ramble on in a ridiculous, naive and distinctly Gen-Y speech about the importance of youth programs.
“I ultimately, I’ve moved past it and I really have no hard feelings about what has happened. And I just see it as another reason why we need to better support our youth with activities and youth programs, which is actually what I do for work, and it’s great to see teenagers do incredible things when they’re supported and empowered,” Connolly said.
Yeah, those kids didn’t seem at all “empowered.”
For the record, this woman got viciously punched in the head for no apparent reason. She also lives in a crappy apartment like many of us in this economy, according to the background of her Skype shot.
And yet she still holds the kind of liberal guilt that convinces her, against all evidence to the contrary, that she is infinitely more privileged than the vicious teenagers who inexplicably assaulted her in an act of pure evil. She still cannot say something along the lines of, “Put these kids in jail and throw away the key.”

Yeah, I saw that. And not once did she mention they were black youths. After she got hit, she said she didn’t even change the speed at which she was riding, didn’t slow down, didn’t speed up - just kept riding till she got home.

I’m surprised she didn’t mention free birth control and the plight of the Palestinians....

Whereas my response would have been more like this;
“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.”

At some point, if we expect to turn the tide, there needs to be direct confrontation, or at the very least, viable and robust alternatives.

Liberals see the same world as normal people, but their minds build for them a completely false view of reality. They don’t see reality, even if it hits then in the head.
Long past time to obtain concealed Carry Permits. Train and learn to use your weapon. There is no time for the police to react to this type of crime.
Meantime the Liberal Idiots in NYC want to stop , Stop and Frisk. Citizens are to vulnerable to street crimes, and it appears to be getting worse.

This knockout game is a racially motivated game that is going to continue until the black community leadership stands up to stop it.
Their silence means, possibly, that they know that whites will start defending themselves and they will end up shooting some of these thugs. It will then be used as an attack on whites for being racist.
Our focus on this should be to pressure the black leadership in these communities to speak out and stop this.
If they can, they should, if they can’t then they are not leaders.
If they are not leaders, then the black teens that do this are a mob, and should be treated as such.
