Landrieu delivered the keynote address at the event and said providing quality healthcare to everyone can be done. She says the Affordable Care Act is the answer.

Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu and seven other Senate Democrats are asking federal officials to find new ways for people to enroll in health insurance plans while the government-run HealthCare.gov website is being fixed.
The liberals are doubling down on this POS now.

They better hope the website never gets fixed because a helluva lot more people will see what a disaster this thing is.

Landrieu is one of the senators who sold out her state when her vote for OCare was bought.
She has no choice but to defend it now. She look like a complete idiot if she didn’t. (Which, unfortunately she....)
She can defend it while she is running for re-election and she can kiss all those lovely perks behind as she gets beaten.
I could be wrong—perhaps there are enough blacks and crazies in La. to re-elect her.

It is only affordable to those who don’t have to pay for it.
They understand the "united we stand/divided we fall" meme. They will circle the horses, increase the lies and smearing of Republicans, and try to "brash it out", because they know how bad it really is. They probably know of even more problems than we do.
There are, and she also has Republican support from such people as the president of St. Tammany Parish (a large suburban parish outside New Orleans). The late Gov. David Treen was also a Landrieu booster. The runoff, presumably between Landrieu and Rep. Bill Cassidy, will be in December 2014; the primary in LA is held in November along with the November general elections elsewhere. People in LA have not defeated a U.S. senator since, I believe, 1930.
