[Watch] Rep Trey Gowdy Hammers Press – 8 Benghazi Questions They Have Never Asked

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R – SC focuses the spotlight on the press for their timidity and lack of efforts in pursuit of the truth regarding the occurrences in Benghazi. He details some questions that the press should know the answers to but do not and likely have never asked:

Why was ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi?

Why were the Americans the last flag flying in Benghazi, after the British had left and the Red Cross had been bombed?

Why were requests for additional security denied?

Why were no assets deployed during the siege?

Do you know whether the president called any of our allies to request help?

Why was Susan Rice picked to go on the Sunday talk shows and present the video story?

Do you know the origin of the “mythology” that the attack was spawned by a video?

Gowdy remarks, “No one has been arrested, no one has been prosecuted, no one has been ‘brought to justice,’ we don’t even have access to the witnesses.”

(Q.) Who holds the key to unlocking the Benghazi secrets Obama and Hillary will not divulge?

MILITARY.COM reported that US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and Egyptian Gen al-Sisi....WRT the post-Morsi Egyptian crisis.

Although the officials would not discuss the specifics of the military-to-military talks, the U.S. would need Gen al-Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.

READY TO ROLL About 550 Marines and their tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft are at bases in Spain and Italy on standby if they are needed. A Navy Amphibious Ready Group with 4,000 Marines and sailors aboard, led by the helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, was also in the region following completion of the Eager Lion training exercises in Jordan.

I wish he would run against Boehner.

Gowdy, is a Boehner suck-up. He will not question the actions of Boehner, Cantor or McCarthy. I heard him interviewed (I believe it was on Laura Ingraham show) where he said that they are in a tough position since they have to cobble together majorities just to get things done.

Since then, I have looked at him with a jaundiced eye. (No, my liver is not inflamed.)

I agree Gowdy and all who call themselves conservative, need to have constant attention, holding their feet to fire, or we will wind up with the GOPe all over again.

We the people need to be constantly vigilant, and consistently remind them they answer to us, and they need to be reminded our goal is to get rid of the corrupt GOPe leadership, not defend them.

Re the movie on Benghazi....

I keep hoping that Clint Eastwood (or other conservative Hollywood folks) is/are working on such a movie. I do think they probably need more facts, but I do hope a screenplay is in progress.
