The city of Caesarea has been in the news recently, for the lavish lifestyle of certain contemporary residents. Yet the people of the seaside city also seem to have lived high on the hog in ancient history. Archaeologists have found surprisingly detailed records of sumptuous eating, drinking, dressing and housing customs of the wealthy – though it seems women only got to partake of the luxury within the home.
Rich then was like rich now – a matter of means. In a discussion on “who is rich” in the Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Shabbat (25b), Rabbi Meir simply said a truly wealthy person is satisfied with whatever he has. Unarguable, that. The famous Rabbi Akiva said wealth was having a pleasant wife (and he should know). But the more prosaic Rabbi Tarfon defined wealth as “100 vineyards, 100 fields and 100 servants.”
The practical Rabbi Yosi defined a rich person a “whoever has a toilet near his table.” At Sepphoris in the Galilee, archaeologists discovered just such a toilet near the dining hall of a wealthy Roman villa.
In fact the Jewish sages themselves were usually wealthy, which allowed them to ponder the fine points of Jewish law all day long....

The Man of Nazareth didn’t cause any problems for the people of Israel, he came to be the Messiah
The rejection of that Messiah causeed Israel’s problems
The rejection of that same Messiah is causing problems everywhere, especially here in the US
And that continued rejection of the Messiah in England, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Europe, the rest of the world, is what is causing Isslam to rise to what I believe will lead to a Muslim Brotherhood led cabal types that will cause all other religions to fear so much, that it will be the Whore of Babylon spoken of in revelation 17
All because the gentiles rejected that Messiah, too, and for 2000 years they have rejected that same Messiah.
So, Israel rejected the Messiah as a nation, it also was the Jews who DID BELIEVE in the same Messiah who founded a great system of belief in the only God, Those faithful Jews who wrote every book of the Bible, the old and new testament, all written by faithful Jews; One group awaiting the Messiah, the final group having met with the Messiah when He came the first time.
Dont blame people who never knew what their religion taught, for as you yourself see, Everyone of us who knows their Bible, DEFEND AND SUPPORT the land of the Jews, jewish people, and Israel itself.

Sampson was a Nazarite (not to be confused with a Nazarine).
Nazarites are people who voluntarily take the oaths set forth in Numbers 6:1–21:

Refrain from cutting the hair on one’s head; but to allow the locks of the head’s hair to grow.
Not to become impure by corpses or graves, even those of family members.
Nazarites can be anyone (including, I suppose a non-Jewish person) who takes the oath upon themselves forever or for a period of time (which is more common) in the service of G-d.

Sampson and John the Baptist were under specific vows. Jesus the Nazarene was not under a Nazirite vow, which forbid cutting of hair.
My post has nothing to do with Jesus. It was a response to Absalom’s long hair mentioned in the post I responded to. Period.
The gentleman from Nazareth didn’t cause any Jews any trouble, he came to save them from their sins, and he was successful for a large portion of them in that day.
It’s those that distort his will and words for their own power that cause the trouble.
Nazarite in Yeshua’s case referred to his being a “netzer” an offshoot from the Root of David. Netzerith was the location where the descendents of David had hidden themselves from the storm troops of Antiochus Epiphanies.
Its a tradition at FR to tell people irrelevent things to show off how smart we are (or aren’t).
This is a deep study but it's a parable. A woman should cover her head because of the fallen angels. In Genesis 6 we learn that the fallen angels found the daughters of Adam attractive and impregnated them. A woman can avoid this by covering her head with, not her hair, but with the knowledge of Jesus, to know to stay away from the fallen angels. For a man to have to cover his head to protect himself from the fallen angels means he is homosexual and the fallen angels find him attractive because of his ways.
That means that Jesus is so handsome that we desire no more beauty for him. He is the full pattern.
You’ve known me long enough to know that I don’t discuss religion if I can possibly help it. I WILL discuss Hebrew Law in some instances like if the subject is abortion, euthanasia, or gay rights, each of which are anathema to both TRUE Jews and true Christians alike.

Absolam let his hair grow for a year. Then he would cut it and donate the weight of the hair in something valuable to the Tabernacle of Moses.
