Although the Republican Party Platform opposes abortion and homosexual marriage, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), which provides funds to GOP candidates, is providing money to two Republican candidates who are homosexual, and who support gay marriage and abortion.

One of the candidates, Carl DeMaio, has also received $15,000 from the political arm of House GOP leaders Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

Rep. Randy Forbes (R-Va.), meanwhile, has spoken out and said that individual House members can contribute directly to candidates, but dues that he and other members pay to the NRCC should not necessarily go to candidates with policies they find objectionable.

Richard Tisei, who is “married” to his male partner Bernie Starr, in Edgartown, Mass., is running for a congressional seat in the 6th District in the Bay State. Carl DeMaio is running for a congressional seat out of San Diego, Calif. …

Saw the GOP HQ in Hendersonville NC today. Commented to my daughter that there was the RATs nest by extension, to which we both agreed they we are no longer Republicans, but conservatives.

Never again!

And the GOP actually has the gall to ask for contributions.

The RNC is also trying to get rid of their only tea party backed committeeman. Dave Agema (MI) is a big meanie who says nasty truths about gay marriage and Obamacare.

I’m sure Sandusky will be seen as an “heroic martyr” in about 40 years with the way our nation is going down the toilet.

You mean like GWB declaring the NYC Stonewall “tavern” of 1969 a national historic site? Maybe Jebbie could launch his campaign from there.

For that matter, Jebbie could insist on Sandusky being his running mate. I miss the days of Ronald Reagan when such things would’ve been unthinkable.

But the likes of Cuccineli (sp?) of VA and Christine O’Donnell of DE get zip. Worse, even though COD won the primary fair and square, Tokyo Rove got on fox tv in short order to work against her. Has that ever happened before in modern American politics? I bet not.

But the fudgebacks get a smile and some bucks.

Buh-buy Whigs. Just remember you did this to yourselves.

Don’t forget Steve Lonegan being hung out to dry too. Could have picked up a Senate seat (in NJ too) instead of it being handed to Corey Booker on a silver platter.

I've no regard for GWB now, though I voted for him 2X.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonewall_Inn

In June 1999, through the efforts of the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation and the Organization of Lesbian and Gay Architects and Designers, the area including Stonewall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its historic significance to gay and lesbian history. The area delineated included the Stonewall Inn, Christopher Park, and portions of surrounding streets and sidewalks. The area was declared a National Historic Landmark in February 2000.

So, this was done on Slick Willie's watch.

And the GOP actually has the gall to ask for contributions.

The RNC actually called me last night soliciting a donation.
I cut the guy off, he asked me why I was so adamant.
Told him the RNC was going to spend my money on candidates such as Boehner, McConnell, Hatch and they don't support my philosophy. I was going to donate to individuals that I liked.
