*From Christian Broadcasting Network – they had the guests of Duck Dynasty (Willie and Korie Robertson) at WH Correspondent’s dinner. Willie Robertson relayed a convo with a CBN reporter after he says he spoke with POTUS:
"He said he loves the show and watches it on Air Force One," Willie said.
"I know the Obama's are very particular about what they let their girls watch on TV so if our show is one they find acceptable, that's really great!" Korie said.

You nailed it! That’s the exact thing that is going on here.
It would be 180 degrees opposite of how he lives his life, his expressed beliefs.
You know, I expect to be lied to. I don’t expect to be lied to when the jackass knows I know he’s lying to me.
One piece I read today says that A&E initially assumed the show’s audience would consist mostly of urban (pseudo)sophisticates who would tune in to mock the characters. Maybe the network had a point there.
As long as they remain an entertainment and not honest they’re enjoyed.
Well they were honest. These rednecks were Real Men and they said so... now granted, they weren’t at the tip top of their Christian game, but still they understood some basics, even that the Lord could help the sex sinners which is more patience than a lot of Christians will give such sinners.
And he’s a ChiSox fan, but can’t name a single player...and he throws like a girl.
If so, it wouldn’t play too well with homobama’s worshippers on the coasts, even before GQ published its interview with Phil Robertson.

I am sure his handlers told him to do something like this. It’s a stunt. It’s “me too!” as he sides with a popular cult phenomenon.
Maybe obama was just trying to get back in touch with the portion of his DNA that he inherited from his white mom. He seems to be way too unbalanced towards his black dna.

This is something I would rather not think about.
Every time someone does a duck call Obama laughs because it sounds Pajama Boy farting.
The sale of so much themed apparel and other merch undermines that assumption. You don’t seek to identify yourself with that which you mock. The licensed product is the weak link here, if pressure needs to be brought to bear, imho. Licensees paid a pretty penny for the right to use DD imagery and logos. They have or had a goldmine possobly surpassing ad revenue for the show itself, and it was just starting to roll, nowhere near peaked. Licensees will feel an immediate pinch and will scream bloody murder.
