Three men were shot dead and two others wounded outside a "go-go bar" in New Jersey early Christmas morning, officials said.

The shooting happened outside Slick's Go-Go Bar, in Irvington, N.J., at 12.45 a.m. ET on Wednesday, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office told NBC News.

The prosecutor's office identified two of the victims as Pierre Clervoyant Jr., 34, the son of the club's owner, and Woodley Daniel, 32, an employee of the club.

Christmas eve-morning and these fools were slumming it up at a flesh bar. BAMish on BAMish violence no doubt.

85% Black, actually and 11% Hispanic. Only about 4% White. It had about 60,000 Whites in the ‘60s and now there’s only about 2,000 (1/3rd of what’s listed as “White” in the ‘10 Census is actually Hispanic, perhaps more).

My father lived in Newark at the end of the ‘60s (he was there for the fun around the time of MLK’s assassination). He went out for a stroll and some feral pitched a tv set out an apartment window at him. Had he been a few feet over, he (and I) would not be here today.

A long way from Frank Sinatra and Perry Como (or Nat King Cole, for that matter).

Gasoline is cheaper in NJ because many refineries are located in and around the state.

I grew up in Newark on Berks Pl. & Nye Ave. on the Irvington border at the same time. Irvington was a great middle class town. We played ball in Irvington Park & sledded down May Hill. I owned a gas station on Stuyvesant Ave. just down from Olympic Park in the late 60’s.
My how times changed very Quickly.

The suspect was described as an older white gentleman who was dressed in a red suit with a red hat.

He was heard to say, ‘On Dancer, on Prancer’, as he fled the scene...

Gasoline is cheaper in N.J. because we have the lowest or near lowest gas tax in the country.
And that seems to be the only thing we have to crow about cause all of our other taxes are ridiculous.

We drove past a strip club last night that had “Ho, Ho, Ho” on its marquee.

I commented to the Mrs. that they must have three girls working Christmas Eve. She gave me an odd look and then suddenly started laughing 5 minutes later.

Sometimes she takes awhile to get my humor.

Well after the first of the year gas is going up 30 cents per gallon so we can fix the roads in PA!

It’s about $3.45 per gallon now!

I can’t wait!

I live In Belvidere N.J. just across the Delaware from PA. We have a free bridge across the river & there is a constant flow of vehicles to our gas stations. I guess that after the first of the year we will have traffic jams for gas. Who knows we may have to double our total of traffic lights to two.
