Hearts in America are getting colder even faster than the weather is. Sometimes it is hard to believe how twisted and deranged many Americans have become. In order for a society to function efficiently, people need to be able to have a basic level of trust in one another. Unfortunately, we are rapidly getting to the point in America where it is becoming very difficult to trust anyone that you do not know personally. As you will see below, the United States is rapidly becoming a cesspool of liars, thieves, murderers, perverts and psychopaths. Please do not allow any young children to read this article.
All of this material is from mainstream news reports, but a lot of it is too disturbing for young kids to be exposed to. The reason why I write about this stuff is because there is never going to be any hope of a turnaround in this country until we take a good, long look in the mirror and admit how far we have fallen.
Yes, a lot of these things are almost too horrible to talk about, but as a nation we must understand how bad things have become. There is evidence of extreme social decay all around us, and it is steadily eating away at the very foundations of our Republic.
The following are excerpts from 12 recent mainstream news reports. Once again, let me warn you that some of these crimes are so twisted that it is very difficult to even read about them. But this is how you get an addict that has reached “rock bottom” to change. You show them how their behavior is literally destroying them and the people around them. And without a doubt, America is being systematically destroyed by all of this evil. The following are 12 signs of extreme social decay in America that are almost too horrible to talk about…
#1 ‘Many going to Super Bowl for child sex’ in New Jersey: The Super Bowl has been called the “largest human-trafficking venue on the planet” with many attending the event not to watch football but for sex with men, women and children.
#2 A 13-Year-Old Boy Who Murdered His Cousin Because Of An XBox: A 13-year-old boy who allegedly killed his sleeping 16-year-old cousin after an argument over a video game system was ordered held in custody today by a juvenile court judge, authorities said.
The teen shot his cousin, Raymond Galloway, in the head at around 5:50 a.m. Sunday while Galloway slept in the teen’s bedroom in the 500 block of East 38th Place, according to Chicago police and Cook County prosecutors.
#3 District man charged with fatally stabbing wife during argument over cable bill: A man charged with fatally stabbing his wife in a Northeast Washington apartment had been arguing with her over an unpaid cable bill, which led to a violent confrontation, according to court papers filed in D.C. Superior Court on Monday. A friend found the body of Claudia Hall, 51, on Friday lying on her bed in her residence in the 300 block of 18th Place NE. Police said she had been stabbed in the abdomen and choked, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
#4 Surveillance Video Shows Bystanders Walking Over Dead Body in Convenience Store Entrance: Disturbing surveillance video shows the body of 24-year-old Jheryl Wright lying in the doorway of a convenience store in Kalamazoo, Michigan while customers walked by unaffected.
Wright had been gunned down at the entrance of the convenience store just minutes before what’s shown in the video, and according to reports, the store clerks didn’t even check to see if he was alive or dead. People came in and out of the store, stepped over him, and acted as if there wasn’t a dead body in front of them.
#5 Pizza delivery man arrested after ‘being caught on hidden camera having sex with family dog’: A Papa John’s delivery man in Florida has been arrested and charged after he was allegedly caught on hidden camera having sex with the family dog.
Joshua Lee Werbicki, 22, was taken into custody on Friday at the Palm Bay restaurant where he works and charged with felony cruelty to animals and misdemeanor criminal sex act with an animal after a video was handed to the police.
Werbicki’s roommate set up the camera after she became suspicious when the dog, a German Shepherd mix, began limping and became startled around people.
#6 Stockton Couple Accused Of Dismembering Roommate, Burning Torso In Campfire: A couple is accused of a grisly crime, killing a man and then dismembering the body. Stockton police say the suspects left a trail of blood that led them to the remains.
#7 Man Accidentally Recorded Himself Installing Hidden Camera to Secretly Record Coworkers Using Restroom: According to the San Antonio Express-News, police said Ray De la Cruz, 44, was arrested Thursday after a coworker found a recording device “taped to the back of a shelf of a storage locker located directly in front of the toilet.”
#8 N.Y. Group Applies To Build Satan Statue At Oklahoma State Capitol: The Satanic Temple unveiled designs Monday for a 7-foot-tall statue of Satan it wants to put at the Oklahoma state Capitol, where a Ten Commandments monument was placed in 2012. The group formally submitted its application to a panel that oversees the Capitol grounds, including an artist’s rendering that depicts Satan as Baphomet, a goat-headed figure with horns, wings and a long beard that’s often used as a symbol of the occult. In the rendering, Satan is sitting in a pentagram-adorned throne with smiling children next to him.
#9 First Grade Teacher Tells Young Child That “Jesus Is Not Allowed In School”: On December 13, 2013, first grader Isaiah Martinez took Christmas gifts intended for his teacher and classmates at Merced Elementary in the West Covina Unified School District. Each gift consisted of a traditional candy cane with a message attached that recited the legend of the candy cane. The legend references a candy maker who created the candy cane to symbolize the life of Jesus Christ.
Isaiah’s older sister told him about the legend of the candy cane and Isaiah asked if he could share it with his teacher and his classmates. Isaiah and his sister then purchased candy canes, printed the candy cane message and tied a copy to each candy cane.
When Isaiah brought his Christmas gift to school, his teacher took possession of the candy canes. After conferring with the school principal, the teacher told Isaiah that “Jesus is not allowed in school” and, at the apparent direction of her principal, ripped the candy cane message from each candy cane, threw the messages in the trash, and handed the candy canes back to Isaiah for delivery to his classmates. Isaiah then nervously handed the candy canes to his classmates in fear that he was in trouble for trying to bring a little Christmas cheer and “good tidings” to class.
#10 A Man Who Planned The Sexual Abuse Of His Own Daughter Before She Was Even Born: Evidence at Adleta’s trial showed that he abused his son and daughter and the child of another woman, children who ranged in age from 1 to 4.
He also ordered his wife and girlfriend to abuse children and recorded the acts; then he istributed the images as child pornography.
Adleta said nothing at the hearing except to answer, “No, your honor,” when asked by the judge if he had anything to say.
#11 Coroner: California priest beaten to death with wooden stake, metal gutter pipe: A beloved priest who was killed in the Northern California city of Eureka was beaten to death with a wooden stake and a metal gutter pipe, his autopsy shows.
#12 Hundreds of teens trash mall in wild flash mob: A wild flash mob stormed and trashed a Brooklyn mall, causing so much chaos that the shopping center was forced to close during post-Christmas sales, sources said Friday.

Whenever I do an article like this, a few people out there will try to dismiss it by claiming that these are just a few isolated “anecdotes” and that most Americans are “good people” and that we really don’t have a problem at all.
I don’t understand how anyone can possibly come to that conclusion, but for those thinking along those lines I would encourage you to check out the hundreds of other examples of advanced moral decay in America that I have discussed in previous articles. Of course most people out there already know that this nation is heading in the wrong direction.
Most people out there already know on a very deep level that something has dramatically “shifted” in this nation.
The American people no longer have the same character that they once did.
So what has happened?
Why is there so much social decay all around us?
I see I didn’t answer your actual question very well.
I would consider a significant increase in the incidence of such horrible incidents clear evidence of moral decay.
Let’s say they occurred at a rate of 100 per 100k population per year in 1950, 200 in 1980, and 400 in 2010.
The problem is that we’re unlikely to find such accurate statistics, for a host of reasons.
As I said, personally I believe we are in severe moral decline. It just isn’t possible to prove it by citing appalling anecdotes.
As countervailing evidence where we do have (fairly) good statistics, murder and other violent crime hit an all-time low about 1958, then climbed for 30 years. We have since been in a decline for about the last 25 years, and 2013 will probably come very close to being an all-time low year for murder.
That most Americans nevertheless believe crime is increasing proves my point about anecdotal evidence being an unreliable way to judge the truth.
I agree that statutory laws had been passed earlier than the Industrial Revolution in England; but as in today's India, enforcement in the countryside was probably only related to spectacular scandals. The main push for enforcement to a degree that would markedly change social custom came, as I suggested, with the confluence of industrialization and feminism pushing for greater rights and protections for women and children, and probably was influenced by the new types of poverty created by urbanization. With a "workhouse" (instead of welfare) system and universal opprobrium and blame placed unilaterally on the females for the implicit immorality and the cost of illegitimate offspring, their exploitation in urbanizing areas needed to be addressed more forcefully.
Certainly Rome and other centers of the HRE had always had brothels. However, English common law formed the backbone of legal reference points for our nascent republic, and the UK is still more influential socially than perhaps any other culture, so I focused my comments on its grappling with the age of consent.

It is a bit discerning that I seem to have come at this from an emotional angle which is the hallmark of a dim lefty. Maybe it’s having children, or simply the added bonus of being female...your answers are one of the reasons I stay at this site, it gives me the opportunity to have an adult discussion and gain a broader perspective.
Aside the lack of statistics et al, I wonder, does the rise in support for gay unions indicate moral decay? I’m struggling to explain to some in my life, how this leads to something even more vile, and who is behind this desire to normalize this behavior.

You are most welcome. As I’ve said, I do think we’re in steep social decline, I’m just unclear how to document or quantify it in any meaningful way.
Morality is an interesting subject. It basically means right/wrong, and not just sexually speaking.
While I think it is indisuptable that our sexual morality as a people has gone done a LOT, in other ways I think we’re much more moral than in the past.
150 years ago we got rid of slavery, which had existed from the dawn of time. Women, racial minorities and other historically oppressed groups have a great many more opportunities than in the past. That’s moral improvement, to set alongside moral decay in other ways.
Most of us never dreamed we would have to research the history of sexual practices in order to defend the cultural accomplishment of Christian marriage in the United States against its current neopagan enemies.
I believe it is a sign of moral decay, chiefly due to decades of material comfort that have enabled the Nanny State. The FedGov grew powerful through floods of tax money that poured in after WWII from an increasingly robust economy; it passed ever more egregious neofeminist rulings that destroy the role of men in the family and replace the father with the All-Powerful State, delegitimizing the entire concept of the natural family.
Heterosexual divorce is one of the main supports of homosexual marriage -- it is an open abandonment of the traditional importance of marriage, enabled by women's nearly imaginary ability to support the children without the help of a man and expect the outcomes to be just as healthful as they would have been with dad at home, which statistically, they most certainly are not for too many children of divorce, cohabitation or casual hookups.
Materially comfortable people, whether by postwar affluence or through the support of welfare and other government programs, often forsake God and His teachings. Material advantages remove fear and need, giving the illusion that they are invincible over adversity and don't need a God. If bad things happen, it's someone's fault! This, combined with the extremely focused and deliberate incursion of cultural Marxist ideology into every institution of our society have laid the groundwork for the destruction of the church and true belief in individual salvation.
In Marxism, salvation is collective -- there is no salvation of individuals, because there is no God. Every person and every behavior is decreed by the elites to be "equal" as long as it's politically correct. For Marxists, there is only salvation through a tightly, centrally planned economy and society run by utopian elitists who solve every problem through their superior intellects, forcing those who support them by their labor to conform to man-made fantasies of equality, no matter how vile and anti-Christian. Every time this hubristic theory has been tried, it has failed. But power-mad individuals are the children of the Deceiver; and he will continue to send his chaff among the wheat until the End.
I'm wandering off-topic a bit; but it's hard to wake up one day and hear that your child is being taught about homosexual practices in elementary school -- that's how suddenly it has seemed to break on the average American parent -- yet such an outrage against Christianity has been in the works for over a century.
Christians must learn to stand up for their religion, their right to practice it under our First Amendent, and their right to protect their children from moral harassment in schools, just as earlier generations of atheists and non-Christians have fought to "protect" their children from such calamitous -- to them -- indignities as hearing the Lord's Prayer, hearing Christian schoolmates discuss their beliefs, that Chrisitans founded this nation and its tenets laid the foundations of our Constitutional law, and even hearing that a mom-and-dad family is considered normative.
Christians have allowed mainstream churches to be invaded by feel-good hippie leftists who no longer believe in sin, and only disapprove of persons who disapprove of sin and sinners -- even though traditional Christianity requires that we all recognize that we are all sinners in need of a savior. The "Church of Nice" believes that homosexual marriage is just like heterosexual marriage and does not contain higher rates of promiscuous infidelity, domestic violence, high-risk types of sexual behaviors and higher rates of child sexual abuse -- but it does. "Nice" Christians forget that Jesus took a bullwhip to moneylenders in the temple. They are sentimental instead of "wise as serpents" -- in no small part because most people who have aspired to a life of chastity before marriage and sacramental, sacrificial love within marriage have never even wanted to think about what homosexuals do -- as evidenced by the homosexual lobby's own outrage when Phil Robertson recently pointed out in blunt terms what homosexuals do, and how their practices differ.
The primary harm to society from gay marriage is the accompanying demand to raise children in man-made, rather than God-made "families." A few loud leftists in every town and village have been using our legal system to force the views of a tiny minority on the children of the majority, using parenthood as one of their main public relations campaigns to appear normative -- as if a child does not need nor deserve to know his or her own blood parents and relations, or to know why they could not raise him or her themselves. To a child, this is a no-brainer: "Where is my mother? Who is my father?" They do not deserve a life of long-winded political speeches from both mommies, or Daddy and Poppa, about Utopian equal outcomes for GLBTQ-Americans.
A great migration is taking place within our nation, under the noses of the self-satisfied elite. Believers are abandoning politically correct denominations and finding Bible-believing congregations wherever they can. There is strength in numbers.
