A personal injury lawyer from Fort Lee, New Jersey, filed the case in federal court on behalf of six local residents who missed work or suffered other alleged damages due to the traffic jam last September. Many more people could join the plaintiffs if the court allows the case to become a class action.

If Christie falls, Jebbie is waiting in the wings as the GOP-e choice.
Right. He is the next problem.
Isn’t it amazing the scandals that can be whipped up by the MSM? This scandal pales to the dozens that have come out of the White House. But because the MSM chooses to ignore them, they are nothing.
Suffering for missed work? really???
I guess Christie is just trying to prove he’s presidential material with this latest episode.../s
“Hogwash” .....these cases are going nowhere!!! I cannot stand Christie......but I love how he carved up the Obamabot media and killed their story in one day!!! Oh...yes, the Obamabot media will continue their quest against Christie....but Christie did do them in and showed Obama how a “real” leader and state CEO handles a bad situation!!! The Obamabot media, once again, shows the stupid buffoons they are!!! They will not save Obama. End of story!!!
Well the trial lawyers, er leeches, that propagate in the Dem party will ensure that the legal costs to the state alone will be astronomical. Final result, each who joins the action will get about 1.98 and the lawyers will end up with about 20 million.
FOX pointed out last night that the other major networks devoted less than 2 minutes to IRS Gate and Benghazi Gate COLLECTIVELY. Just ONE of them devoted 12 minutes to BridgeGate.
Good.
This will blow up in THEIR faces also.
Well, I’m not so sure. But the media’s obsession with a closed bridge while they ignore the IRS scandals and Benghazi undermines their credibility too - GOOD!!!!
I posted in related threads that Media/Opposition Researchers/Trial Lawyers will scour every police/fire/EMT event during the 4 days of the traffic slowdown.
There could be more unforeseen consequences.
Chris Christie and why should I care about him?
Oh yeah. These lawyers will follow the media in making this look like Christie is responsible for the murder of State dept people by their host country

Let’s see if Christie as the ‘nads to bring this up in every interview, and every news conference, and challenge the media elites on this?
How do you figure this will “blow up in their faces”?
I would like to personally thank the Christie Staff for relieving us of the problem of having to contend with another RINO running for the GOP Nomination for President. Put a fork in the big guy; he’s done.
Oh, goodie, goodie gumdrops.
“Rosemarie Arnold, the lawyer behind the lawsuit, said she has received “tons” of emails from residents detailing damages, including panic attacks, caused by the traffic jam.
“I have no political motivation whatsoever,” said Arnold, who specializes in cases involving car accidents, defective products and wrongful death. “I’M A REPUBLICAN. I VOTED FOR HIM.”
The lawsuit names Christie, the state of New Jersey, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the governor’s aides as defendants.
Some experts were skeptical of the lawsuit’s chances.”
Just proof that scum PI lawyers come in all flavors!
More of a speedbump.
The failings of his family predecessors grow more irksome over time as it becomes clearer to the base just how bad their policies worked out long term.
Dynasties are for mallards.
