Today Mississippi Representative Omeria Scott (D-District 80) introduced House Bill 231. In her bill she proposes that anyone who sells ammunition in the State of Mississippi be required to keep records of each sale. If passed,
every merchant, dealer or pawnbroker that sells pistol or rifle cartridges, shall keep a record of all sales of such cartridges sold, showing the description of the kind and caliber of cartridges so sold, the name, address and drivers license or social security number of the purchaser, and the description of and the quantity of cartridges and date of sale.
These records, which include social security number, name and address would be open to public inspection at any time to persons desiring to see it.

First they came for the Jews...then they came for the Catholics...then they came for the ........The Marxists never give up and they know they can’t succeed if the peasants are armed.
The way ammo sales are going these days, that list will rival the New York City phone directory in size, within the first three days.
Suggestion from one of the comments .... betcha 'Omeria' would fight that tooth & nail. It makes more sense .... taxpayers could actually see who is getting THEIR money.
Home Invasions, burglaries, and property crimes spike against liberal Mississippians, Democratic lawmakers baffled.
The bill wont go anywhere here in Miss. It is just a Black Lib’s dream!
There was a man in a county where I lived who firmly believed a new prison being built in Huntsville, TX, where the largest state prison is in Texas, was being built to put Christians in. One can see that facility from Hwy. 45. He was also worried that sometimes he saw a black helicopter flying around in the Conroe area, the county next to that one.
He went into apoplexy immediately after the towers fell, as govn. helicopters were flying over a dam in that county and kept it up for a number of days. I found out that dam is the vital link to keep water going to oil refinery plants from Houston southward. Without that particular fresh water, no oil gets processed. That is why they were guarding that dam.
When one thinks about it, when the towers fell, certain vital areas suddenly became vital to protect. That little county in Texas is known for nothing more than the Sam Houston National Forest - just gobs of acres of trees. The county is not known for that dam as there are dams everywhere in Texas, that one is just another dam, except it isn't. What other states suddenly had govn. protection start? Do you have any idea what is really in your state/county?
SSN is a retirement account number that became a national ID # without any announcement.
The government defrauded us on this. Don’t let them defraud us again.
I might have known.
How about publishing names, numbers and SN# of women and men who have STD’s... let’s see how the progs feel about that...
How many co-sponsors? I’m betting zero.
Come to Arizona. Just buy a gun from a friend and no paper trail. And if you want to carry it in your purse or over a loose shirt, you don’t need no stinking permit, either. Second Amendment, baby!
I have been told by my legislator that this bill will not make it out of committee and should be dead by 2/4. Let’s hope so!
I’d like records of every man or woman Omeria has kissed, dated or slept with. She might be carrying HIV, and she could be infecting people in Mississippi. I demand that the list be public knowledge and printed in every newspaper in Mississippi so as to protect the innocent
What a surprise.
And when will she supply HER SS number?
