Good morning SR ((HUGS))

Cute graphic. I loved that show.

I actually put a reference of Wilma and Fred in one of my stories.

Oh yes...we jamm for the last few minutes of every lesson.

I WANT my students to be able to improvise, as I have had too much experience with musicians who refuse to play anything that isn’t written down or rehearsed.

While that is VERY important in Classical music (Which I love), it doesn’t “cut the mustard” in either rock or jazz.

Daddy is the third guy from Col. Scott of those squatting. He has his hands clasped in front.

The engineers carried portable saw mills with them and there was apparently ample trees as for instance, they built camps for displaced persons and for war criminals. They also built a large mess hall for the Potsdam conference.

They used wood from trees sawed locally. They also hire Germans to do a lot of work and according to Daddy, they were extremely hard workers.

Funny, I was talking to a co-worker and he told me they are still the same.
Unlike many other European countries that are more laid back about life, Germans are more like us when it comes to work.
(which is not necessarily a good thing, LOL)

Thank you for the kind comments.

I have pictures somewhere of them all sitting around a railroad station with their duffel bags waiting to board trucks to go home. Not sure why they were waiting at a train station.

They all have what I would call a melancholy look about them. They had to have been glad to go home but they were going to miss their comrades too.

That attitude seems prevalent in the military, doesn't it?
