Jeb Bush takes on immigration, education in Jacksonville speech (Jeb's demented defense of Amnesty)
Florida Times Union ^ | 1/17/14 | Joe Daraskevich

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush defended immigrants and weaved together ideas about immigration, education and the plight of youths in a speech Thursday night at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts.

-snip-

Bush said a population pyramid with more young people at its base is important because the youth support the elderly.

He explained that in China the pyramid is becoming inverted because they are trying to control population and as a result the elderly are going to outnumber the young.

He said immigrants in the United States are usually young and if they were allowed to stay legally they would fill the bottom of our pyramid.

Who is telling him that he has a chance?

The liberals hate the Bushes so much it is out of control.

Conservatives aren’t going to vote for a Bush.

Do they think independents are going for him?

It is so unbelievable.

There is not a chance in the world a moderate republican will win. and there is a zero, or a negative chance a Bush will get in.

They might not want to win, but if they’re trying to make it look good, it’s not worth it.

NO.

And the GOP “leadership” are having an Amnesty Retreat at a luxury resort in Maryland in 2 weeks to plot out their strategy for passing Amnesty against the will of their constituents.

Hey Jebby, did you know we have 11% unemployment (If you use the labor force participation of January 2009 )? Give us growth rates of 6% for about 10 years then we can talk about importing labor.

Idiot.

Not one of these politicians address the fact that we are getting Mexico’s and the rest of South America’s dregs. They are uneducated and poverty stricken. We are doing nothing but importing poverty.

Jeb can take his daddy’s compassionate appeasing conservatism and stick it where the sun don’t shine.

I don’t need a Bush to give away the sovereignty of this country simply because of the collective family guilt.

RE :”He said immigrants in the United States are usually young and if they were allowed to stay legally they would fill the bottom of our pyramid.”

If we need more people at the bottom, or below the bottom, then what's the endless calls for longer unemployment comp extensions, minimum wage increases and food stamps about Jeb?

Being a compassionate conservative I am sure you like your brother support all those. Where you getting more $$ for those from?

Jebbie hasn’t had a clear thought on immigration since he went to Mexico in 1970 as a teenage exchange student and fell for a Mexican teenage girl, his future wife, Columba Garnica Gallo.

I pretty much got that when he presented Hillary “What difference does it make” Clinton the Liberty medal. Liberty? Yes Ambassador Stevens and our navy Seals certainly had their share of Hillarys brand of “liberty”. The fact is Jeb is a RINO piece of garbage.
