Devastating Benghazi Timeline Reveals Obama MIA

The government watchdog group that revealed that President Barack Obama failed to attend over half of his daily intelligence briefings (known officially as the Presidential Daily Brief, or PDB) released a devastating Benghazi timeline Wednesday.

It reveals Obama’s schedule in the week leading up to the terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

Release of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) Benghazi timeline comes as a new Senate report published Wednesday concluded that “the attacks were preventable.”

As the GAI timeline reveals, Obama failed to attend his daily intelligence briefing for the five consecutive days leading up to the September 11, 2012 attack of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.

Obama avoided all intelligence breifings in the days leading up to the attack in Benghazi. Well, what else to expect?

However, to me the BIG news was the video released 10 September by Ayman al-Zawahiri with the message to avenge the death of al-Qaida leader Abu Yahya al-Libi.

So, there was a video after all -but not about Mr M., and not released by a weird film maker but by al Qaida!

I guess most Freepers were aware of this, but I had missed it. And of course MSM never informed me!

Obama is just the figurehead. He has nothing to do with any policy, regulation, executive order, etc.,
Think of him as the TV spokesman for a huge corporation.

Not lazy. This is about protecting his favorite people from the middle east, and letting innocent Americans die so as not to annoy his buddies.

Bad enough he missed the security briefings, but much worse is his absence that evening after the attack.

What was Obama doing on that night?

I think it’s far more important to answer the question as to what was he not doing, and why not?

This was an opportunity for Barack Obama to be seen as responsive and decisive, if not brave and patriotic.

Let’s face it, Obama could have mobilized immediately, and though the ambassador would still be dead, perhaps many others would not. We all know it’s balderdash to suggest we could not have done more than we did militarily to either attempt to save the Americans in Benghazi, or to begin to insert operatives into the country to exact punitive consequences.

This was again, an opportunity for POLITICAL gain. And the most politically focused President in our history did nothing? No attempt to rescue, no attempt to punish the perps?

The answer, of course, is that if the truth were discovered about what we were doing in Benghazi, then it would have been a tremendous political problem for the Obama reelection campaign. That’s why he did nothing.

This was posted 10 September 2012 on Chicago Tribune. A day later it turned up on the web-sites of Daily Telegraph, Reuters, Google etc.

Al Qaeda leader Zawahiri confirms death of Abu Yahya al-Libi, September 10, 2012|Reuters

CAIRO, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Al Qaeda's leader Ayman al-Zawahiri confirmed in a video recording the death of Abu Yahya al-Libi, a veteran militant said to have been a leader of the group's operations, and who had survived previous U.S. attacks.
The U.S. government said in June that a drone strike in Pakistan had killed Libi, dealing the biggest in a series of blows to the militant group since the raid that killed Osama bin Laden last year.
"I proudly announce to the Muslim umma and to the mujdahideen (holy fighters) the news of the martyrdom of Libya's lion Sheikh Hassan Mohammed Qaed," Zawahiri said in the video.

(Reporting by Ali Abdelatti; Writing by Mahmoud Habboush; editing by Christopher Wilson)

More importantly, in the piece on Reuters site (12/9/2012) this is stated:

"This liar is trying to fool Americans into believing that he will defeat al Qaeda by killing this person or than person," he said, referring to U.S. President Barack Obama. "But he escapes from the fact that he was defeated in Iraq and Afghanistan."
The United States withdrew most forces from Iraq last year after it led an invasion in 2003 to depose ruler Saddam Hussein, and it is planning a withdrawal from Afghanistan, invaded in 2001 to bring down the Islamist Taliban government.
Zawahiri urged Muslims and particularly Libyans to take revenge for the killing of Libi.

"His blood urges you and incites you to fight and kill the crusaders," he said.

----------
Now then, which video do You think is most likely to have a bearing on the events in Benghazi - the unknown Muhammed video or a call to action against the infidels by al-Zawahiri?

Where the H--L was Romney and his campaign on this???

This is from memory so I really have to go back and check...

I think there was some event (some sports thing besides) at the white house which ended about 4 PM.

Someone met with him and told him something was happening (so his loyalists said) and he left...cuz he had to be in Vegas the next am.

I'll dig up some verification of this "memory".

I saw Try Gowdy dance around this question when Megyn Kelly asked him about it. They know and have all been silenced. Notice how it never comes up in any discussion on that night.

Ater they get to the bottom of Benghazi let’s get started on the 4000 killed in Iraq because people were all over TV talking about mushroom clouds, being welcomed with flowers and oil would pay for it. Politicians lie, people die. So it is said.

Where was he and what was he doing that was so urgent that he evidently couldn’t be bothered?

As homosexualized as his excuse would likely be, we still have the right to know why this so-called President left these people to be murdered.

WHERE WAS THIS MISCREANT?
