Most important is to close ALL GOP primaries to GOP voters only.

Agreed - the question is how do we, as citizens force that to happen?

Look at what they do - not what they say. They have far more in common with our avowed enemies, than they do with us. What sort of common ground can we possibly find with such people?

I agree that. I believe that their major motivation is preserving their position. As such some of them can be useful in achieving majority party status. Then we can start weeding out the gang of fourteen types that always sell out. But first we need to take control so that a Cruz or Paul can set the agenda as majority leader of the senate. Likewise in the house we need new leaders that are more in tune with the conservatives than the chamber of commerce.

The GOP attacking their base will make it a draw. There is no difference between the two parties anyway. Spendaholics.

Thanks Innovative. Obamacare will resonate this year, Benghazi will resonate in 2015 and Hitlery will watch her prospects slip away (above all, she must NEVER be POTUS), and by 2016 Zerocare will be repealed or gutted and we'll be getting back our lower income tax rates.

If you vote for RINOs, you'll never get a conservative majority in Congress. Your Rand Pauls and Ted Cruzes will never get a crack at a leadership position as long as the Republican rank and file is infested with lily livered, weak kneed, unprincipled, fence-sitting, milquetoast, back-stabbing, Democrat wanna-bes.

These people are more dangerous than the real thing, because they trick good conservatives into placing their confidence in them, just to sell them out behind closed doors. Look at Boehner talking about 'immigration reform'.

What???

A lousy 3% of the U.S. population thinks that it's a high priority, and probably ALL of them are liberal Democrats. Why the hell is the Republican leader of the House even considering it all???

Do you see what I'm talking about here?

The way to victory is by taking out the quisling traitors in our party wherever we find them, while turning blue seats red, wherever we can. Supporting weasels like Boehner only begets more of the same things the liberal Democrats are trying to cram down our throats.

Yeah, I do. I guess I am trying to see good qualities where none have been shown.

Friend, these people are despicable. They know that you're a decent, loyal American citizen, and that all you want is for the country to adhere to the pathway laid down by the Framers. They know you're the trusting sort, who would never desert a comrade in need....someone who lives their life by a set of guidelines and principles that are moral and good. In other words, the perfect mark to run their con jobs on.

People like us have fallen for the slick lies of these people for so long now, they believe that we'll follow them straight off a cliff, as long as they've got a hallowed R velcroed to their sleeve.

Enough!

The country is almost lost. I, for one, can't take another step backwards, or compromise with my principles and my reality any more. I demand that my representatives embody, espouse, and act within the framework that our country was founded upon. If they can't do that, then they're on the other side (or enabling them), as far as I'm concerned.

RE: “TURNOUT is everything.”

The Democrat Party agrees.

Their entire 2014 election strategy is based on turning out Black, Hispanic, immigrant, and poor white women voters.

That is the single minded purpose behind their “income inequality” theme.

That is why they are attacking Republicans on unemployment insurance, Food Stamps, and minimum wage.

The Republicans have NO CHANCE of taking the Senate.

If non-white voters turn out at the same rate white voters turn out, the Republicans will be lucky to hold on to the Senate seats they already have.

Failure of Republicans to nominate a true Republican non-RINO is not a problem of my principles.

The official Republican Party, along with Democrats and the media forced McCain and Romney on us. The result was foregone from the beginning.

Their losses are not the fault of conservatives; it is the arrogance of appeasement and abandonment of core principles by the GOP that spurred them.

All too true. Back to the original issue - how to best deal with it. Throw it all to the far left to teach the weak-kneed RINOs a lesson, or is there a way to actually get some real conservatives on the final slate?

There were several real conservative candidates on the ballot in 2012, trying to win Senate seats.

Many were rejected by the electorate.

You win some, you lose some.

In my book, adjusting one’s principles in order to come up with a ‘next best alternative’ is what got us where we are today. It is called “holding one’s nose.”

I’m not going to do this any more, period. I’ll vote for the most conservative in the primaries, and if the RINO wins the primary, then I’m just not going to vote for him/her in the general election. I won’t be a party to rubber stamping traitors any more.
