Americans who hope for more such fairness should be very worried about Obamas agenda. Yes, it sounds very much like what they want, but if Obamas presidency has demonstrated anything, it is that he produces results that are the opposite of what he preaches (Exhibit A: Obamacare).
Government redistribution designed to reduce income inequality rewards and subsidizes those who are less productive and penalizes the productive. The result is that the ranks of the unproductive swell while those of the wealth-producers shrink. Society gets poorer.

Income inequality hurts economic growth, researchers say
Now, a new paper argues, inequality is not only bad for those at the bottom. It is also bad for economic growth as a whole and a major reason why the recovery from the Great Recession has been so weak.
Dang, still waiting to hear what the correct wage distribution is. Not sure if I’m earning enough, too much, etc.
more of the non working people wanting mo money for no work.
they print more money EVERY, SINGLE, DAY... it's up to ME as to how much of it I bring home.

Commies never talk about Economic MOBILITY, they always whine about Economic Equality...

If you told a dim about your problem no doubt they would suggest to re-distribute some of that excess back to the DNC....
This is a big deal if you’re a political because the guy who gets to decide who is worth what, owns you.
I believe the old Russian saying was “We pretended to work and they pretended to pay us”.
http://www.tomhoefling.com/8/post/2014/01/crony-capitalism-socialism-legal-plunder.html
Now, legal plunder can be committed in an infinite number of ways. Thus we have an infinite number of plans for organizing it: tariffs, protection, benefits, subsidies, encouragements, progressive taxation, public schools, guaranteed jobs, guaranteed profits, minimum wages, a right to relief, a right to the tools of labor, free credit, and so on, and so on. All these plans as a whole with their common aim of legal plunder constitute socialism.
Now, since under this definition socialism is a body of doctrine, what attack can be made against it other than a war of doctrine? If you find this socialistic doctrine to be false, absurd, and evil, then refute it. And the more false, the more absurd, and the more evil it is, the easier it will be to refute. Above all, if you wish to be strong, begin by rooting out every particle of socialism that may have crept into your legislation. This will be no light task.

income inequality
So the guy whose family vacation cost the American taxpayers 20+ millions of dollars is going to lecture us about income inequality?
Then we have to be the press.
Our founders won our independence with nothing more than broadsides printed on crude presses, and hand-written letters delivered by men on horseback.
We have cell phones, and computers, and the internet, and free email, and free social networks, and free web radio, and free web video, and free websites, and more.
If we fail to communicate with one another, it will be because we lack the will, not because we lack the means.
Why did the East Germans want to flee?
At risk of their lives?
They had all those great government benefits.
“Why did the East Germans want to flee?

Exactly!
I bet inequality was pretty low in East Germany before the wall fell.
Yes everyone was equally poor, except the ruling classes, of course.
