Someone needs to stand up when it happens and retake the narrative and point out what it is exactly the DNC is doing.

My vote goes to Alan West. I hope he runs again in Fl. He and Dr. Carson could and should educate the public on the racial double standard.

Ahhh...the melodramatic Peggy Noonan, with her smart girl glasses, agrees with old Bob’s continuous insistence that Cruz shut down the government, tosses her hair back and declares Cruz is just trying to get his popularity back. GRRRRR...it is Republicans like this woman that makes me want to leave the decaying GOP.

And what’s with all the gold, Peggy?

Daley said Cruz trying to rewrite history. LOL the history that was rewritten by the Dims in the first place!!

They fight back but no one in the MSM covers it. Does a tree that falls in the forest make noise when no one is around to hear it?

Michael Steele had oreos thrown at him while running for office. No big deal. Move on, nothing to see.

I saw the full quote last night...and to see that compared to what the media reported it’s night and day.

However it seems to be par for the course where the Libtards are concerned as of late. They are so desperate to control the narrative they’re ben willing to try and alter reality.

Immigration reform is Obama’s life preserver. If he gets legalization of status (amnesty) even without a path to citizenship, it will be a major victory.

And the GOP power brokers always want amnesty. The GOP thinks the base will still vote for them no matter what with the kenyan in the WH. They think they won’t ever get a better time to deliver for their big donors.

What I don’t get is the GOP seem to foolishly believe the Dems will give up the issue if they just do another amnesty. The Dems NEVER give up an issue like immigration to the GOP!

ROFLOL! Guess those lines got overused a bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if he talked about how great the website is working and how many people have signed up, especially those that didn’t have healthcare insurance before. Though he will not say how many LOST their insurance due to Obiecare and still have no insurance, nor will he say that the back-end is still a mess so many people can’t pay (and, therefore, have no insurance). He will probably also not talk about the high percentage of folks that have signed up are signing up for Medicaid and/or getting subsidies and the associated costs to taxpayers.

As Rush and others have said, with the back-end not working, it’s like putting something in your shopping cart on the Amazon or another site and not checking out and paying for your order. Until you do, you won’t receive the book or whatever.

Nooner is anything but a Repub. I doubt she has voted or endorsed one in 20 years. Reagan only had her on staff to proofread his speeches.

FACE THE NATION (CBS): Panel - Bill Crystal

Crystal ‘Vote to raise the Debt Ceiling’

Crystal ‘Reform the highway bill which is pork laden’

Crystal ‘Bought off Ben Nelson for Health Care bill’

[Example: Idiocy of raising the debt ceiling being the thing to do while all this waste is going on. Thanks Bill Crystal.]

Speaking of books on Amazon, if you go to my tagline you can read the into to my novel coming out next month or March. People I don’t know are telling me they want to read this new novel. It’s not like any story you have read.

Agree! It was shameful what one of the jerk-Dims did to Sen Scott this week. He made some very poised comments on one of the FNC shows (think it was Megyn’s). If a Pubbie had said something like that about a black Dim, it would have been all over the LSM - every channel and print media non-stop. I don’t think it got much coverage except on Fox and a few other places.

Thanks for the tip - - yes, anxious to read your book - - this will be like a little appetizer for it until the big 4-course meal comes out in March.

The FED seems able to deposit into the banks to make up for all the businesses who are not, and nobody is coming to take out loans on a scale as the FED expects.

Banks will probably have to start charging the FED for their bond buying to make up for the private sector lack of activity. And can I suggest retro-actively.

The Dems will agree to legalization because it gives them amnesty and they can still use the citizenship issue as a club against Reps. When Rep. Luis Gutiérrez says he can accept legalization without citizenship as a good first step, you know the fix is in. Gutiérrez has been the point man for the Dems in the House on immigration issues.

"Under such an amnesty, the formerly illegal immigrants would receive Employment Authorization Documents (EADs, or work cards), legitimate Social Security accounts, driver’s licenses, expanded (though still limited) access to welfare, travel documents enabling them to leave and freely reenter the country, eligibility for affirmative-action preferences, and much more. The only thing they wouldn’t have is a timetable to apply for citizenship, which means no prospect of eventually being able to vote."

“it is Republicans like this woman that makes me want to leave the decaying GOP.”

I used to love reading Peggy in the WSJ years ago. She started falling off the edge during GW’s second term and has gone over to the dark side. IIRC she admitted voting for Obummer in 2008. She likes to play an intellectual, but IMHO she’s far from it. Hopefully, she’ll wake up and see the light one day, but I doubt it - - I think she’s lived in Upper Manhattan and gone to too many cocktail parties there for far too long.

Problem is the current leadership just accepts what the media says and the coverup that ensues.

They fear the backlash more than they do the lies being told about them and they’ve been de-nutted because of it.

They’d rather live with what the media tells them they are than stand up for the truth.

My feelings exactly! He creeps me out. I tuned him out for the most part when he was just on FNS - - but did hear the same old cr*pola come out of his mouth - -”the president inherited the worst economy since the great depression, has created 8 million new jobs, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada”. I do think Chris said something like come on, the recession has been over for 4 years.....

Another one I can’t stand is Loretta Sanchez. Thankfully, I’ve not seen her in a while. Had to tune her out when she was on Gregory’s show - - Hillary is great, she’s done so much, she’s worked so hard, she’s blah, blah, Yuck!
