Days after House Republicans unveiled a roadmap for an overhaul of the nation

He said a plan that puts security first could only pass if lawmakers believe the administration would enforce it an unlikely prospect given Republicans deep opposition to Obama.
Let’s hope that we have put this divisive issue behind us so that we can focus on demolishing the Democrats in the next election.
They are going to wait for the lame duck session to pass unpopular laws.
The Marxocrats will push Boehner to pass Amnesty BEFORE THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS.. This must NOT happen!
That’s what I’m afraid of. Here’s video of me at Alipac on immigration “reform” and amnesty.

Why should the GOP pass anything? We all know that if the House passes a law prescribing the size of a thimble, the Senate could take it up, pass it and the 0bama regime could interpret this as universal US voting rights and welfare for anyone on the planet.
Good news. Rush Limbaugh has been scorching on this Republican amnesty. Maybe some Republican fence sitters got constituent phone calls that nudged them to NO ON AMNESTY
Actually, I distrust the GOP leadership, including Paul Ryan, all of whom support Amnesty.
“Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said distrust of President Barack Obama runs so deep in the Republican caucus that hes skeptical the GOP-led House would pass any immigration measure. He said a plan that puts security first could only pass if lawmakers believe the administration would enforce it an unlikely prospect given Republicans deep opposition to Obama.”
BS, the only way this does not pass is if Bonehead determines even with 100% of the dems voting for it, almost every one of the GOP caucus votes against it. That will not happen. So, there must also be some number of dems who will not vote for amnesty, not many, but enough to make bonehead toe the line, till next year.
No kidding. How these back-stabbing cowards ever thought they could get this through in such a year as this, is totally beyond me.
Personally, I think they went through the motions of this ridiculous kabuki dance to satisfy their corporate masters. The American people are in no mood for this foolishness, while 90 million legal citizens are out of work, and Obamacare is wrecking their health care.
I guarantee you there isn't a single political consultant who thought this was a good idea. Well, maybe not on the right. The ones on the left probably think it's a wonderful idea.
Ryan is a stinking GOPe rat lying through his scumbag teeth. He knows pushing amnesty this close to elections will cause some of his lib republican buddies to get tossed out of their cushy little club. Much better to wait until after primary season to screw the base.
RE: “Lets hope that we have put this divisive issue behind us so that we can focus on demolishing the Democrats in the next election.”
This issue will NEVER be behind us.
McConnell, Boehner, and Ryan will try to pass Amnesty 24 hours after the 2014 election.
And we are NOT going to demolish the Democrats because, once again, GOP leaders like Paul Ryan have utterly demoralized Conservatives.
My on the record most optimistic 2014 prediction.....
We gain at most 2 Senate seats.
We lose House seats, and barely maintain our completely useless majority.
They won't. They're just going through this ridiculous kabuki dance to satisfy their corporate masters. If the Republicans really did push an amnesty bill through to a vote, they'd be decimated in the Fall. They all know this, but can't say no to the people they really work for.
“My on the record most optimistic 2014 prediction..... We gain at most 2 Senate seats. We lose House seats, and barely maintain our completely useless majority.”
Yes, you are an optimist. I think that the gop faction of the uniparty gets pretty much nothing out of the election in the Senate, perhaps even loses a seat or two and loses a few house seats.
An outside possibility is the gop faction loses the house. Most house seats are so carefully gerrymandered that a dinner plate with the appropriate R or D after it would win, so I think that’s unlikely. The way the gop faction attacks it’s base, though, puts that in the realm of possibility.
So then, Boner will do it on December 24th at 11:59 PM, 2014, you get my drift.
Could you imagine having this puke and that sniveling rat Romney stabbing us in the back every day? And to think we all voted for this weasel last election.
Any deal that includes a path to citizenship is no deal, it’s a complete cave.
Because Obama WILL NOT execute his side of ANY deal.
Basically you can’t make a deal with someone who lies and wont follow through on their end of the bargain.
He may try, but we'll still be in no mood for amnesty. There is a point at which a people can stand no more, and that would probably be it. Does he really want to pull the pin on that grenade?
Maybe the Gee Oh Pee has realized we find them only slightly less loathesome than the Dems.
That’s one of the best explanations I’ve heard on this, yet.
