Days after House Republicans unveiled a roadmap for an overhaul of the nation
(Excerpt) Read more at bostonglobe.com ...
Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said distrust of President Barack Obama runs so deep in the Republican caucus that hes skeptical the GOP-led House would pass any immigration measure. Mistrust of the GOP-E AND Barry Obammy should kill this piece of excrement, but,,, never underestimate the stupid GOP in their ability to screw this country.
Listen for the wailing of the Banshees (Democrats).
Give it a break.
OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEZ PING
Oh, they're definitely 'feeling' us.
It's why Romney and the GOP-e barred Sarah Palin and the Tea Party from the 2012 convention. It's why McCain called Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Rand Paul, "wacko birds". It's why Mitch McConnell said the Tea Party needs to be "punched in the nose".
The scumlords of the Republican party hate us even worse than they hate their 'friends' across the aisle.
Jane, I've looked this thing over with a fine toothed comb, and nothing else makes rational sense. No political party commits suicide on purpose. Especially when they've got the upper hand going into an election season.
It's just nuts, ergo, there's a hidden explanation for it that DOES make sense. The only one that registers, is that the crony capitalists and deep pocketed donors in the US Chamber of Commerce, are forcing Boehner, et al, to go for this stupid, stupid amnesty bill right now.
Boehner knows better than to take this poison pill right now. The very fact that he is, tells you that he's following some else's dictates. I can only imagine the sort of hate mail he's getting right now from the voters back home. They've got to be freakin livid.
I had to watch that interview., No matter how many times he was asked about immigration reform Ryan dodged each question by changing the subject.
It will all depend on Black and Hispanic turn out for an off year election.
The Democrats got crushed in 2010 because Conservative white voter turn out was unusually high, and Black and Hispanic turn out was unusually low.
The Democrats are completely focused on turn out in Texas and Georgia for 2014.
I believe we could lose 2 House seats in Texas, one more in Georgia, plus a serious risk of losing the Senate seat in Georgia.
Nation wide, if Black and Hispanic voters turn out at the same rate as white voters, the GOP is in very serious trouble.
“Nation wide, if Black and Hispanic voters turn out at the same rate as white voters, the GOP is in very serious trouble.”
I think it’s going to be a low turnout election pretty much across the board. Few people are enthused about the choices. The ‘rat faction of the uniparty has the better ground game in general so they’ll do better than the conventional wisdom would indicate.
Much as I hate to admit it....that statement does have a powerful resonance.
It taps into a huge mother lode of "distrust" Americans are harboring, due to Obama/Demo's serial lies on Obamacare.
AND Obobo's failure to "enforce" his own signature plan.
I like the parallels they've created.
However, would be nice if Pubbies got their act together---if they left conservatives alone and went after the real culprits tearing down America.
Be on the watch for another trigger gimmick that 'forces' Obama to enforce immigration laws before the clocks start on permanent legalization. Ryan is a fast talker.
