The Navy is investigating cheating allegations against about one-fifth of its trainers at a school for naval nuclear power reactor operators.
It is the second exam-cheating scandal to hit the military this year, on top of disclosures of ethical lapses at all ranks in the military as it transitions from more than a decade of war-fighting.

Obama has removed USN officers who refused to fire
on US cities.
Those replaced swear allegiance to HIM rather
than the US Constitution.
What difference could it make?
That’s not a very thoughtful response. Ad hominem response is a sure sign of weakness. Do you not think that the military is a bureaucracy? Do you not think that moral standards in general have fallen? Do you not think that they’ve been low for a long time?
When I went through prototype, the third phase of nuclear power training, back in 1990 you had instructors who would sign stuff off in a student’s book without performing the proper examination beforehand. One instructor who was getting ready to transfer went overboard in some kid’s book. He went to NJP where they asked him if that was the only incident to which he replied it was. He was then busted from E-6 to E-5 and sent packing to his next duty station. They collected all the books from students (including mine) and did an audit of signatures. The first instructor was called back from his new duty station and busted to E-4 and IIRC four other instructors were busted as well.
In other words this stuff happens.
As for the dismissals I don’t have an answer but I do know that in the early 1990’s only about half of submarine commanding officers were completing their tours.
EO, diversity, end of conscription, etc. etc. There was a time when over half of the young men attending CalTech or MIT had performed some type of military service. The service academies were primarily engineering schools; no more.
I suspect that the pool of folks that run the reactors was a very similar looking bunch; in other words, not very “diverse”. I also suspect that in an effort to “diversify” that group of smart, melanin deficient, males it was mandated that “others” be forced through the program and, just like always, the mustard couldn’t be cut so cheating was the only way to arrive at the “balanced” ratios they sought. It’s happened in our schools, it’s happened in the workplace, it’s happened at NASA and now it’s happening in the reactor school. Look for a glowing, smoldering shipwreck somewhere soon.
..that in it self, should be a Congressional investigation
All adding up to exec order soon to scrap all nucs due to 0bvmmer declaring there is no one safe or trustworthy to guard the nucs, so he’ll join Pvtin in scraping them and win the Nobel Peace prize...wait, he already did!
Ugh, let me be clear, Pvtin, I have more flexibility now.
Wrong kind of nukes.
If you can't trust the leadership, assume the government can't be trusted. After a certain time transpires, government can't be trusted even if the Leadership can be trusted. We have crossed that Event Horizon.
I don’t have any confidence in this administration. Just so you know. This is a time when you hope that those with integrity give no one an excuse to purge them.
