Birth-control activist Sandra Fluke suddenly takes herself out of congressional race
Daily Mail ^ | 2/5/14

Sandra Fluke, the contraception activist who shot from obscurity to the national spotlight in 2012 when she argued that her Catholic law school should be required to provide birth control to female students for free, said Wednesday that she's decided not to run for Congress in California.

The newly minted 'social justice attorney' was one of three Democrats who had petitioned the California Democratic Party for its endorsement in the 33rd District election set for nine months from now.

Henry Waxman, who has served in Congress since 1975, is vacating that seat at the end of his current term.

Fluke will run instead for a state Senate seat held by Democrat Ted Lieu, who is running for Waxman's seat.

'I am extremely moved by the outpouring of local and national support I have received since I announced that I was considering running for office,' Fluke said in a statement.

'While I strongly considered offering my candidacy for Congress, I feel there is a better way to advance the causes that are important to our community.'

Who did Sandra Fluke have her first tryst with? Buster Hyman? Oh, well, at least Marianne Williamson is easier on the eyes than Nostrildumbass Waxman.

I think what she found was that one or two local Democratic groups in the district...already had their guy or gal in mind, and saw her as more of a threat than a candidate. They probably suggested that they wouldn’t help with her campaign if she won the primary, and since Waxman wasn’t much of a winner in the last campaign....it’d mean problems down the road.

She’ll stick around for a year or two...get into state politics, and might be prime-time in a decade.

I think America has been asleep for the past twenty years and is now starting to wake up.

How many congresscritters you thought would never go away, have gone away and how many now saying they'll not run again ?

It seems to me, the sandra fluks of the world have been part of the game they were playing ... and DID play ... when they drafted the mulatto bastard

They got away with THAT one, why couldn't more play ?

but sandra fluk was outed, ridiculed and sent away .. only to emerge again for round two ... except ... her handlers have given her her gift certificate to Spiegal's catalog, thanked her for playing and sent her home.

THAT'S my take on things.

I believe we're not far away from something happening ... either the enemy will shrink away (not GO away), and allow just enough America to return (but still keep a grip on her balls), until the next window of opportunity ...

or the whole thing will explode and we will have AR2 (American Revolution 2)

Just the way I see it.

Let’s not twerk on her political grave just yet. No, she is not running for Congress, but Yes, she now wants to be a Senator, where she thinks her influence will be stronger. Personally, I don’t like her or the causes she represents, objectively, the girl is poised under pressure, and can speak well in the public forum. There is a place for her as a public speaker or cheerleader of convienance. The fact that she always looks to have a sour stomach only serves to endear her to others in her demo. There are scores of educated women who are tired of having to deal with the commoners, the people who just don’t get it, and resist contributing their fair share for the cause. If somebody can make Sandra Fluke break character, and go all “Ape-Sh%t” on a conservative, Martin Bashir style, that’s when she (may) start losing credibility with the dim dems.

When you have a one-track philosophy, sometimes you just gotta REPEAT things (like sentences) :o)

My guess is after spending $3000 a year on condoms she:
1). Doesn’t have time
2). Probably has some pretty sore inner thighs and has a hard time working.

Maybe she found out she is pregnant and needs to take time off her campaign to look around for a free abortion. And then she needs some more time off to recover.

Comrade Fluke has been told by the state party apparatus another comrade has served the party well and has been chosen to replace Waxman. She will be allowed to enter politics at the state level. If she continues to serve the party well her turn will come for a congressional seat. Note the wording of her announcement. She has submitted and will serve (obey).

Hubris to begin with. People think they can serve the people for the stupidest reasons. We’re just now getting rid of the one who became a congresscritter because her husband was shot on a train.

I think this was caused by two things:

1) the local Dems already had their preferred candidate and she cut-in line.
2) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, she would be a reminder to Californians about the debacle called Obamacare and the Dems can NOT afford that during this election!!

I’m friends with somebody close to a woman (Ms. Urlich) who was running for Bill Young’s recently vacated seat. She had the backing of the Democratic party. She got a call from the Democratic party saying that they were switching to Alex Sink who doesn’t even live in the district. Ms Urlich was ordered to resign the race and start supporting Alex Sink. That’s undoubtedly what happened here. (And, like good little Obots they do as they’re told.)
